Your Destiny or Your Life

'Destiny' is a word that can inspire a host of emotions and reactions. If we are successful, we can call it destiny. And if we're not, we can call that destiny too. In many ways destiny can become an excuse for our failures and missteps because, after all, isn't destiny the pre-written path of our lives? How can we argue with the path the Universe has charted for our life? But in reality, how can we not argue with it because the choice comes down to this, we either live our destiny or we live our life.

We can live our life through destiny but destiny is not the path that the Universe has charted for us, far from it. Destiny is the path that, through our karma and unresolved emotional history, we have created for ourselves, but it is not set in stone anywhere except in our hearts and minds. Every step on our path, which includes everything we do and everyone we meet, asks a question, are we going to live our destiny or our life. Because while destiny is a potential life path, it is not our life. And our life can include destiny's options but is not limited to them, although it is limited by them.

This is one of the more important things we can understand about life and living. Our destiny is always an option as it is the pre-written path for our life that includes our karma and soul group connections. Following this path is similar to eating the same food every day and never changing the menu. We are eating and nourishing our body but how that is done is extremely predictable. Once we have the urge to do something different, no matter how small it is, we begin to open up to other possibilities. We're not sure how they will turn out because we are opening a new life path and option. And this is how we choose between destiny and our life.

Destiny is a form of living but we can look at it as an option along with other choices. Is it destiny to marry a certain person and then divorce? Yes but we can choose to marry someone else and avoid that path entirely. Is it our destiny to be rich and successful? It can be but that outcome depends on the choices we make, the actions we take, our level of self confidence and how we interpret what happens in our life. Destiny can be our life path as a springboard to change, where we choose an outcome that is the highest expression of our life path. What will you choose for your life?
