Channeled Writings of Spirit

Dear one, if you think you have picked up this message by
accident, then you really do not understand how things work. For
I am Spirit, and know you... and you know me. If these words, or
those of past writings seemed to feel like "home" to you, then it
is because your higher self has intuitively recognized the writing of
a friend. I love you dearly, as do all entities who are here in service
like the Spirit. I admonish you to let yourself feel my presence in
your heart, and let yourself have the peace which can be yours
when you let go of the fear that prevails even now in most humans.

About Love

     The ancients told you that "the meek will inherit the planet."
Unfortunately your word "meek" was a poor choice for transla-
tion. Indeed the meek will inherit the planet, but you should be
aware of what meek really means. The meek human is submissive
to the power of love. That is, a meek person chooses to stand back
in wisdom when others charge in with anger. A meek person will
choose to evaluate another in the criterion of love rather than of
wealth, position or situation. A meek person is truly without ego,
and is slow to defend himself, even when verbally attacked. This
is because a meek person has the wisdom to understand that a
verbal attack harms nothing, and is the result of imbalance in the
attacker, A meek person will send love to those who attack, and
regularly feature balance toward the Earth, with tolerance even
toward the intolerable.

    Who is this meek person? This meek person is among the
most powerful on the planet. This meek person is the one who has
recognized love as the power source, and creates with it. She or
he changes negative to positive and evil to kindness. This person
has the power to heal individuals, and groups of these people can
change the planet itself. All warriors will pale in comparison to this
meek person, for the power of one of these balanced ones will be
equal to legions of those without love.

    I come to you representing this power, and with the news that
it can finally be yours. This powerful meek person is you. Put away
your fears of the phantoms of lesson and claim this power. I will
support you with my changes, and your guides will give you what
you need to continue. Understand who you are! Understand who
you are! Understand who you are! (There is no greater emphasis
than when Spirit repeats something three times.}

     Love is the champion of the times. It is the bond of the
Universe, and is the secret of your unified theory. It is present at
the cellular level, ready to be released with appropriate action. It
is unconditional, and is unique. It provides peace where none
existed before. It provides rest where none was possible before.It
is wise. It is the sun within the sun, and is of singular source. There
is nothing greater than this. No evil or negative thing can compare
to it, and it is yours for the taking in the new energy.

     Know this my friend: you cannot undo this truth of what you
are reading now. It will stick in your consciousness long after you
put down this message. It rings of truth because it is. Claim it!

Consequences of Anger
A terrible fit of anger shatters the physical nervous system. It produces a lasting impression on the inner astral body. Although the effects of a fit of anger may seem to subside in a short time, the vibration or wave, continues to exist for days in the astral body. A slight unpleasant feeling that lasts in the mind for five minutes may produce a deep inflammation of the astral body. It may take several weeks or months even for this ulcer to heal.
Now, have you realised the disastrous consequences of anger? Do not be victims of anger. Control it by love, mercy, sympathy, vichara (enquiry) and consideration for others. Even slight annoyance, or irritability, affects the mind and the astral body.
Aspirants should not allow these vrittis (thought waves) to manifest in the mind lake, as they may burst out as big waves of anger at any moment, if you are careless or weak. There should not be the least disturbance in the mind lake - it should be perfectly calm and serene. Then only you will find meditation possible.
It is difficult to control anger. Anger is a manifestation of shakti (energy). At first, try to reduce its force and its frequency of duration. Endeavour to attenuate or thin out this formidable modification of the mind.
Do not allow this modification to assume the form of a big wave on the surface of the conscious mind. Nip it in the bud when it is in the form of irritability. Divert the mind. Entertain divine thoughts. Do vigorous japa (repetition of God's name) and kirtan (chanting). Repeat some prayers or slokas (verses) from the scriptures.
Develop the opposite, divine qualities. Develop patience, love, forgiveness - anger will die by itself, gradually. Blessed are those high souled people who can control their anger by pure, strong will and intellect.
Be serene. Serenity is like a rock. Waves may dash on it but they cannot affect it. Waves of irritation may break on this rock of serenity but they cannot affect it. Meditate daily on the ever tranquil Atman (Self). You will attain this sublime virtue of serenity gradually.

The Purpose of Purification is Release:

Buddha explained that it is for the sake of Nibbana that one trains the mind:

Morality is for the sake of self-control, self-control is for the sake of no regrets;

Absence of regrets is for the sake of joy, joy is for the for the sake of bliss;

Bliss is for the sake of tranquillity, tranquillity is for the sake of happiness;

Happiness is for the sake of absorption into one-pointed concentration;

Concentration is for the sake of knowledge and vision of how reality comes to be;

Knowledge and vision of how reality comes into being is for the sake of disgust;

Disgust is for the sake of disillusion, dry disillusion is for the sake of relinquishment;

Mental relinquishment; is for the sake of knowledge and vision of awakening release;

Knowledge and vision of release is for the sake of Nibbana without any clinging left!

For this purpose is this speech, for this purpose is this noble advice!

For this purpose should one pay attention to this chain of causes!

That is: For the purpose of release of mind through non-clinging...
