The Angels Need Our Prayers

Yesterday I spent two and half hours on the phone with a journalist in Columbia. Talking with her really brought home to me how similar the issues we are all facing. So many countries are in turmoil at the moment. And the angels are telling me that we need to pray for all in our countries – not just our families and friends, not just for the people we support – but for everyone.We all have guardian angels, but many people don’t realise that God has also appointed an angel to each and every country - the Angel of the Nation. This angel is enormously powerful and never leaves the borders of your country. The Angels of the Nations are all in contact with each other. Their role is to spiritually influence everyone in their country particularly leaders of all sorts - political, business, religious, and intellectual – in order to ensure they do the right things.

Once when I was a child I was shown the Angel of the Nation of Ireland. Like all Angels of the Nations I have ever been shown he was dressed in armour. On his head he wore a helmet, and his armour seemed to be made of different plates of metal. He and all Angels of the Nations have a look of gladiators ready to go into battle at any time. The Angel of the Nation of Ireland looked very human and I saw no wings – his eyes were very big and bright. On this occasion, I was shown him sitting down as if on a hill formed of the earth of Ireland. He seemed lost in thought but quite content. He just smiled at me and didn’t say anything – but I knew who he was as I had seen him on a previous occasion.

The Angels of the Nations tell me that this is a very important time and they need our prayers. They are asking us, in all countries, to pray more for our leaders – to pray not just for our families and friends – but to pray for everyone whether we agree with their views or not. The angels are trying to help us not to judge – not to say we’ll pray for this group, and not for another.

Prayer opens people to listening and hearing the right thing to do. There is an abundance of angels around you when you even think of praying– they are there even before you utter the prayer and the power of prayer cannot be underestimated.

The angels have told me that here in Ireland many of us put our spirituality on hold because of our greed for material things. We felt we could do it all on our own. The angels are working hard –everywhere, not just here in Ireland - to make us more open spiritually, more aware of our guardian angels, and our souls, at making us more conscious of natural justice and how we are all a part of a bigger whole.

I see some positive signs, at a recent signing a business man told me that he was shocked when he looked back and realised how much he had been ripping people off. He was shocked to realise how materialistic he had become, how nothing had seemed to matter to him but making money. The recent death of a loved one had shattered him and had made him realise just how little material things really mattered. His guardian angel didn’t open up but I could see two tall white angels on his left hand side standing very close to him, touching him. It’s unusual for angels to stand so close to someone so I knew the angels were supporting him and helping him. He was in tears as he asked me was it too late for him to change. He told me he was praying that God would give him time to change his ways. The angels with him told me without words that the man was telling the truth, that he had turned for the better and that he was now listening more to his guardian angel. They asked me to pray that his faith would grow strong and he would have the courage to continue listening and doing the right things.

On the other hand I met another man last week and he told me that he couldn’t wait for the economy to recover so as he could make more money and that in the mean time he was buying land and property at the lowest possible price from people who were forced by the economic circumstances to sell them. He asked me had he a guardian angel. “Yes I replied.” I could see the light of it behind him even though it didn’t open up. “But you are not listening to it.” I continued. He just smiled at me. I know that he believes that he’s smarter than others, and he has no need of God or his guardian angel - that he can do it on his own. There were other angels around him, they told me they weren’t giving up on him and will keep trying to make him listen. Angels don’t judge us, and they never give up. As we parted I told him what I have told others, “You can take no material things with you when you die – only the memories of what you did and the love within you.”

God and the angels are giving us an abundance of help – there is so much help there - all we have to do is ask. Most of us don’t realise how much strength and power we have. There is an enormous resource of untapped spirituality within us – a vast and unlimited pool. When we connect with our guardian angel and when we pray we start to access the wonderful grace, which is God’s gift to us.
