All the Power of the Universe

God said:

The essence of you is I. I am the Essence of You. I am the essential of you. All the clambering you do, and still you are My stillness. You are the silence and the beat of My heart. The beat of My heart is precious within you, and the silence We make together supports everything. The silent is the spoken, beloveds. Do you understand Me? I see that you don't quite.

In life, there is a rumble. There is a lot of rumbling. From where does the rumbling come? Let Us say there is an avalanche down a mountain. The avalanche makes a lot of noise. From where comes the landslide? It comes from the silent mountain. From where come you, beloveds, and where are you going? And what is your hurry to get there?

The waves of the Ocean lap the shore. Even the mightiest wave is a manifestation of the Ocean. A mighty wave is only a drop in the bucket of the Ocean.

At the same time as it is ripe for you to acknowledge your magnificence, you are also ready to acknowledge from where your magnificence comes. It seems like a contradiction to suggest that you home in on more of yourself at the same time that I suggest you let go of yourself. See yourself as more Supreme and less supreme at the same time. In fact, what will happen, what is going to happen, is that your dependence upon your individual identity is bound to leave. It is true that, to find yourself, you must lose yourself. It is in the losing of yourself that you are found. The essence of you cannot be lost. Can even the essence of you that you have carried around with you be considered to be found? Only what is lost can be found, and yet you find yourself in Me.

The powers that be are housed within you. All the power of the Universe is at your disposal. It has never been otherwise. You must know some of the power within you. You have had hints at it. You are a Mighty Being. You are not Mighty Mouse.

From the Silence comes your power. It comes from nowhere else. Power does not come from noise. It does not come from bluster. It comes from the Silence of the Heart of God, and that simple heart that bears My Name is succored in your heart. Use it, beloveds. And what is another name for the Silence of the Heart of God that resides in your heart? It is love, pure simple unadulterated love. You are the essence of love. You are not an essence of anything else.

Of course, from an essence comes drops, and yet the essence remains and does not change. The essence stays true to itself. Stay true to love, beloveds. There is, after all, nothing else for you to do.

You ride on love. Whether you ride on a donkey cart or a snazzy car or on a slow train to China, you ride on love. You walk on love. You run in love.

Even in motion, you are the Silence of Love. You are the same as the love in My heart. You are the repercussion of it. Welcome to My heart, beloveds. Welcome. You have always been welcome to it, and you have always availed yourself of it. You have always come to the trough to drink. You drink, and yet you may not have noticed. The power you have is Mine. There is no other, and yet you have all of it, and yet you are unaware of the power you have. You have the power of decision and the power of indecision. Beloveds, there is no power that you do not have.

The Different Kinds of Understanding

Sri Sri: There are three kinds of understanding: intellectual understanding, experiential understanding and existential realization.

Intellectual understanding says yes, agrees. Experiential understanding feels, is obvious. Existential realization is irrefutable. It becomes your very nature.

All you hear will simply remain a jumble of words if there is no experiential understanding, which is more on the feeling level. You can know intellectually you are hollow and empty but sitting and feeling you are hollow and empty is totally different.

When one gets an experience, one wants to understand more about it and becomes a seeker. If you have only intellectual understanding, you will think you know it all. Most theologians are in this category.

Existential realization contains within it both experiential and intellectual understanding. But it is beyond both of these.
Question:How do we get there?
Sri Sri : There is no way. When the fruit becomes ripe, it falls.
Question: What is doubt?
Sri Sri:It is one part of the mind challenging the other part of the mind.

Bonus Knowledge Flash:
Sri Sri: "You have to rejoice in the means. You have to love the means. Love is the goal; the means must also be lovable. Love springs when there is no effort, when all activities are shunned."

It is the intellect that divides and that synthesizes. Some creatures in the world only synthesize and some creatures only divide. But the human being has both abilities, he divides and synthesizes. Ants only synthesize, they bring Things Together And Build An Ant Hill. But Monkeys Cannot Synthesize, They Can Only Divide Everything. You Give Them a garland for example, and they tear it to pieces and throw it all over the place. A monkey can only divide, or analyze. But a beaver synthesizes, it brings all the wood together and builds a dam. Birds also synthesize such as the Weaver birds.

A human being both analyzes and synthesizes. So you analyze from the relative world and synthesize to find the one. The intellect divides to find the truth. Truth once found synthesizes everything.

When the intellect becomes quiet, it brings out the intelligence. Often people think that gathering information makes one intelligent. This is not so. It is the "samadhi" which brings out the intelligence.

An unintelligent man, in spite of having all the information, cannot be creative. An intelligent man without much information can be creative.

A sign of intelligence is to see the one in many and find the many in one.

There is an old Sanskrit proverb: The first sign of intelligence is not to start anything. The second sign of intelligence is if you have started something, you have to continue it to the end.

If you have annoyed somebody, don't stop it in the middle, take him to the edge. (Laughter)
