Thought Adjuster: “Progress is made day by day, and with each step you take to get closer to the Father, you will discover what talents He has stored-up within your being. Originality is the main feature in the universe. Truly, there is nothing new for the Father, and nothing takes Him by surprise. However, there is still abundant opportunity for originality. The way in which you discover the universes, and the way in which your personality progresses by adapting to the universal flow, is something that has not had previous manifestation in creation. It is always unique and original.

“All understanding and ideas to explain their surroundings will always be original in those who make an effort to think freely. All of you at some point will have to free your selves from the chains of the traditions imposed by your forebears, to rise toward the knowledge of spirit. Spiritual knowledge is never complete on any planet. There are always opportunities to improve, to go deeper and to learn.

“In this world there are even more opportunities. It is very hard for a creature of Urantia to abandon the establishment and to learn to think independently. The fear of being wrong and of rejection by your peers is very intense in some of you. In truth it is better to continue being tied to the old religions and the old beliefs than not having any religious or spiritual inclinations at all. However, when the fruits are ripe, they should be taken from the tree to be eaten, or they will spoil.

“Once a certain level of spiritual maturity has been reached – thanks to a traditional religious education or other means – human beings must take responsibility for their own progress. This is not so much inventing your own path but instead learning to listen within so the Celestial Father Himself is able to reveal the path and guide you in the next stage of your existence.

“Life is a journey of exploration. In this world nobody reaches maximum potential. When someone manages to align their personal will completely, and without reservations, to the will of the Father, the fusion with the Divine Spark will take place, and instantly that human being will be elevated to a new life far from this world. If you are still here it means there are still adjustments that need to be made, there are still things to be discovered and lessons to be learned. Never stop progressing since this is the commandment of the ages – be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

Teacher Gorman: [Henry] Greetings my friends, it is an opportunity to be here this morning amongst you and share a few words. God sees you as perfect, doing imperfect things. You see yourself as imperfect, doing perfect things. God sees a perfect world screwing up, you see an imperfect world trying to get better. God sees the wholeness of your soul. Learn to discern the wholeness of your own soul that you may begin to discern the wholeness within another's soul. It is tremendously difficult for one to see another, to feel for another, to understand another, to communicate with another and to love one another.

The human condition to be surmounted, to be overcome, are those very things that we think move us forward. The human life is tremendously beset with irony, but to develop momentum, you have to begin in the moment. You will never be able to ride a bike standing still, you must cause the motion. Either you push it or you start pedaling and then it is in momentum. It will bring you where you need to be, where you are trying to get to, from point a to b. The perfecting momentum of reality begins in perfecting the moment, it begins in the instant you can transform the thought of love into the power to love, to give love.

It is somewhat of a blind insight to say you live in a loving universe unless you are able to bring this love into the universe, into the universe of your heart and to touch the heart of another universe. In this sense, all of you are universes apart yet all you have discussed today are the imperfect conditions brought on by the inability of the countless souls inhabiting this planet to bring love into reality, to give the gift. The gift of God is His love, the result of God is life. All of the horrors and tragedies which presumably exist, at some point were born out of a loveless state, a loveless aspect of the mind. A mind that is quick to revenge, quick to retaliate, quick to bully, is the same mind that okays the heart to open to divine love, to become a repository of such love, that everything you say and everything you do is an aspect of love.

This is the imperfect human attempting to do perfect things, attempting to bring this divine resource into play on a resourceless planet, the one resource which is greater than all the power and all the gold in the world. Why aren't men fighting for love? Why aren't men hoarding love? Can the heart be filled to capacity with love and know of nothing else? Can the crying in your hearts be a loveless cry, a loveless desire, a loveless act? Is not the Spirit Within attempting to bring you to this understanding of love? Love is the one thing everyone needs more than any other need. It has the ability to comfort, to nurture, to sustain, to hold compassion, to grow faith and hope, to legislate beauty in the man made things which inhabit this world.

How many souls must come and spill their blood for more love to be brought into the world? You must ask yourself, why in the world would anyone want to stop love and peace from taking over? The greatest person who can ever live on this planet has the ability to show forth love in all of its forms and venues, to show love as the way of life and to give the gift of love as if you know the maker of love, the great maker of all and everything, the Father of love, the Mother of love, the beak of love, the breath of love, the hands of love, the feet of love, the heart of love, the soul of love and finally, the mind of love. Love is the one thing that can never be made artificial. Love is always real. You want the world to be made more real, show it more love.

Serena: [Cathy] I am pleased to add a few thoughts to the discussion about ethics and reality on this planet. The rebellion has distorted our ideas of reality. Caligastia injected an error into the basic systems of social activity in the attempt to bring his ideas to fruition. The result is a reality that is not of God's design. The result is not one that will bring us into the condition of Light and Life. The correcting time was initiated to bring to the consciousness of the population, a better aligned view. The enhanced function of morality will occur as each individual begins to live in a way aligned with the Father's plan, God's will. As each person becomes spiritually fragrant and filled with the fruits of the spirit, the natural interaction between individuals will be loving and moral.

It is indeed impossible for a person living in the light to plan harm or deceit against another person. We are all one in the Father. This is our mission in the coming dispensation, to bring the Father's mercy and compassion into the consciousness of all inhabitants on this world. The Father's mercy is available for all. It is indeed a state of grace that need only be accepted. The perspective of the planet at this time is close to the concept of forgiveness for past slights and transgressions. As individuals become able to accept the Father's mercy, they will act as a conduit bringing mercy and love to all they encounter, a flood of mercy and forgiveness if you will, coming from a compassionate recognition of the experience and view of their neighbor. As we unite in the Father's will, an alignment will follow to bring us all to the same path of loving service to each other. This is our path to Light and Life.

God said:

I surrender myself to the arms of God. I surrender myself to the comfort of God’s arms. I put down my arms of battle. I surrender. At last I understand what surrender is. In surrender, I melt into God’s love, and I take no substitutes. I relax from slings and arrows. I relax into God’s love. No longer do I resist God’s love. I welcome it. I embrace it. No longer do I kid myself that I have thorns or protection of any kind. I do not need a shield. If there is a shield in this world, it is God’s love.

From now on I accept that I am safe in God’s arms. I am safe in God’s heart. I am the love of God. I surrender. I give up battle. I melt into God’s love and call it my own. I am a reflection of God. It is God now I surrender to. I give up all that that hinders me. I align with God, and this means to align with God’s love.

What have I been doing aligning with affronts? What do I truly believe in? Do I believe in anger, mine or other’s, more than I believe in God’s love and God’s Will for me? God wills me to be free from fear. Free from fear, I bear no arms, and I need no armor. God is my shield. He is my light. I am in His light. I need no other fires. I sink into God’s Love. Nothing, nothing can keep us apart.

No longer will I allow pettiness or surface rub me raw. I have had enough, enough of that. I have gone to war when I could have carried God in my heart. How preposterous of me to fill my heart with less than God’s love. No longer will I fill my heart to the brim with outrage over what now makes no sense to me. I have been out of my mind with this or that. I filled my mind with empty chatter. I filled my mind with dregs and allowed my own antagonism to assault me. God would lift me high, and I have protested love and taken hurts and affronts instead.

I didn’t know what I was doing. Now, instead of seeing affronts or injustice, now I see how I have picked up that which I feared. What assailed me was my own disgrace. I piled it on. I slathered on dismay like shaving cream. I shaved love away. It is my own love I shaved away in the name of self-righteousness, a fancy name for the littleness of ego. I thought I was doing honor to myself. I thought I was supposed to be an equalizer. I thought my thin-skin was the most important thing in the world. I lost sight of my higher nature, and I sought justice instead, as if I had been right to feel wronged.

I grabbed the dross of hurt feelings – my own – over the gold of love. I see it now. I admit it now. Now I put insult behind me. Yes, I realize I accepted insult over God. I accepted vindication over God’s love. My attitude was fueled by the idea that I was owed, that my ego was owed obeyance. I was owed royal treatment, as if, by divine right, I was owed tribute when I did not even give myself the tribute of love for God. No, I was too busy grasping at nothing and calling it my due. I found out all right what my just desserts were. They were holding nothing in my hands and battle scars in my heart.

Now I close that old book, and now I open my heart. No longer do I behold life from a fort of defense. Now I behold life as I walk along with my heart in tune with God’s. This is enough. This is what I ask from life now. This is what I want now. Yes, I ascend to God’s heart, and now I share God’s heart, and His heart is mine.
