Spiritual Currency.”

Bzutu: “Greetings
my dear ones. At times it is profitable to get back to basics and relearn the ‘yes, I remember’ things we
should hardly forget. For us Midwayers it is customary to take two periods each day for contemplation, meditation or
stillness, as well as a period for reversion, although for practical purposes we are constantly on call. For you humans
it is profitable to find at least one suitable period of stillness each day, preferably during mornings, although evenings
are better than taking no time at all.
“One
session of stillness meditation is better than a hundred ‘gimme, gimme, dear Lord’ rote prayers that bounce right
back off the ceiling and get you nowhere. Stillness meditation is prayer of the best kind – a searching for that
Spark of God that indwells you – and yet a mental rest period that after time and regular practice allows you to grow
closer to the Guidance within you. Centuries of observing humans have taught us that those who will take the time to
still their minds are happier and more successful than those who don’t.
“Composers
compose better music, and writers write better essays. Parents raise their children better, and business people run
their organizations with more flair and endurance, for they all will have drawn new Helpers into their activities –
their respective Spirit Selves – ever waiting, ever at the task of steering their beloved subjects onto greater success.
Your drawing closer to that Fragment of the Creator that indwells you is not an option, oh no! Whilst so many to their
personal disadvantage choose to constantly delay, eternal life demands it.
“There
is one way for humans on this planet to attain eternal life, and that is by constantly drawing closer to the Spark of God
within. You may start this on your home planet in stillness meditation, we recommend it, but you will decidedly be practicing
it on the mansion worlds beyond this mortal life. Every minute spent in this way will pay you back handsomely. It
will represent your acquired spiritual currency in a secure savings account, designed to pay high interest, and much of this
will ‘rub off onto’ others whilst you are still on this earth.
“We
can do little more than implore you to regularly meditate. Even if you feel that stillness meditation is for you a waste
of time, you will benefit by doing so, no less than having regular meals, regular baths, and regular sleep. I do admit
that this highly recommended meditation still belongs to the ‘options department’ as you name it. After
all, you are entitled to your free will prerogatives, always. However, I shall return to speak more clearly about your
rights and duties as citizens of democratic countries next time we meet.
