=====================
When the ego desire body is in control, you easily become a victim of circumstances and of those around you, for
you are always seeking validation of Self-worth from the outside world and from other people. Accomplishment, wealth and status
are measurements of worthiness in the third- / fourth- dimensional reality; however, a true sense of Self-worth comes from
within as you open your Sacred Heart and Sacred Mind to the Divine Love / Wisdom / Will-power endowed upon all sentient Beings
by our Father / Mother God. Love is the centrifugal force that creates harmony. Hate and fear separate, scatter and
destroy the harmonic resonance around you. Gaining spiritual wisdom and understanding the universal laws of Creation will
free you from being a slave to fear and will release you from the bondage of superstition. You must be willing to face
your imperfections and have the courage to change them or the wisdom to accept them. It is only when you become aware
of the ego self and its excessive desires and distorted concepts that you are able to begin the process of returning to wholeness.
Are you cultivating the strengths and qualities of your Soul or the wants and weaknesses of your ego? Your attitude
determines the altitude and the refinement of your vibrational patterns.

Oakbridge University - Jeshua - Message of the Day
Beloved one, the freedom that comes with seeing things differently brings you back Home. And the soul group that you
are working for and with expands, because there has been that change in energy, that change in the old energy of an old paradigm
that says this is how it has to be, and you have broken out of it.

The Gift of Seven Extraordinary Days of Grace
by Caroline Myss
July 25, 2012
========================================
Grace comes in many expressions. It intervenes in raging arguments, calming your anger so that you do not say what you
can never take back. Grace whispers thoughts of hope in desperate times, giving you the stamina to hold on through the storms
of life. And grace delivers inspiration, awakening creative resources deep within your being. The power of grace is endless,
silent, and powerful.
A rare and rich but much too brief discussion of the activity of grace given in a graduate school lecture was brought
to mind the other day while I was watching a program about the devotion the great opera star, Rene Fleming, has for assisting
up-and-coming opera singers. It’s so amazing, really, how and when these flashbacks arise. You have no idea they remain
hidden in the vast archive of memories that you are carrying around in your brain, like the words of all the songs from the
60’s that just pop into your head the moment you hear the melody.
First, I’ll share the long ago memory of this graduate class. I was in a class on mystical theology and while we
were discussing something or other, the professor noted that one mystical phenomenon is that each person is given the gift
of seven extraordinary days of grace each year. The grace given on these days is of the quality that it organizes the events
of that day to transform your life – that is, redirect your life – in a most significant way. The rest of the
class, as you can well imagine, was immediately devoted to the details of identifying that grace and the content of these
extraordinary days. (I’ll get to that later – don’t worry.)
Anyway, I could not turn off this program about Rene Fleming, which actually intrigued me as I am not really an opera
fan, but I have seen Fleming perform in person, thanks to my dear opera fan friend, Andrew Harvey. And she is beyond magnificent.
During the program, you saw Fleming giving hands-on instruction to four lucky opera students, instructing them on how to advance
their voices. She offered them the most interesting techniques that would assist them in perfecting a single note, a precise
tone. Their devotion to the art of opera and to the art of their voice was stunning.
Later, Fleming was casually walking through the opera house with her four students when she said, “Remember, you
have seven extraordinary days a year. You can’t waste them. You must be on alert for them.” As soon as I heard
her say that, the memory of that day in graduate school flooded into my mind. How in the world did she know that? Why did
she say that? Did she mean the same thing as my professor? And why don’t I have Rene Fleming’s phone number???
Immediately I dusted off my memory. What were the details of that lecture? I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, leaned
back on the couch, and drifted back through the decades of my life to graduate school. I waited, waited,ah, yes. I remember,.
Your Seven Extraordinary Days of Grace
Let’s start with the obvious first question: Why seven? Perhaps it’s because there are seven days of
the week, or seven days of creation, or seven chakras, or the scale of life is numbered at seven. Seven is a mystical number
that notes a resonance to your soul. Let us, therefore, assume – though we have no proof as such – that this might
be the reason and leave it at that. When it comes to mystical theology, we operate on observation, subjective experience,
and the nature of law and order as revealed in the order of nature itself. A scale of “seven” is a repeated scale
throughout mystical systems of order; therefore, it may well be that this scale functions within this phenomenon. (That
was your first lesson in mystical theology.)
Next, in order to understand the nature and content of these seven extraordinary days of grace, you have to be very clear
about what they are not. So, grace is not – repeat – it is not an obvious force. Grace is a silent breeze that
enters into your essence, often to protect you from doing harm to yourself. Grace does not protect you from the consequences
of your negative or foolish choices; rather, it seeks to prevent you from making those choices in the first place.
Now, let’s think about an ordinary year of life, beginning from January to December. During that year, you will
plan or attend a handful of special occasions or trips that rate as extraordinary. Among these are: weddings, vacations, parties,
dates with someone special, surprise events, holiday gatherings, birthday parties, spa trips, etc. What these have in common
are the following:
You know about them ahead of time;
You will have expectations of how the event will play out;
You
will either exaggerate the good time you intend to have or the bad;
In either case, your expectations
will be disappointed;
The event will not go as expected in some way.
For all the above reasons, these days do not qualify as one of your Seven Days of Extraordinary Grace because you are
fully convinced you are in charge of the event or you are directly influencing the psychic field with your attitude. In other
words, you are exerting too much control toward wanting a certain outcome.
Finally, days burdened with expectations translate to you having to get what you want, the way you want it. From
another perspective, these are days that reveal a sense of loss of control and personal insecurities.
The Nature and Character of Extraordinary Grace
Yet another mystical theological teaching is discernment: to look through the eyes of your soul into a situation
in order to see and understand the significance of what is unfolding in front of your eyes. Discernment is unlike judging
a situation, which tends to be an immediate and reactive response. A discerning response is one that requires reflective thought.
With this teaching in mind, we now proceed into the deeper waters of discerning the nature of extraordinary days of grace.
You have no authority over your seven days of extraordinary grace; that is, you cannot decide when these shall be given
to you. They come as they come. They are considered “gifts of the spirit,” bestowed upon you at a particularly
advantageous time in your life – the operative word being advantageous. Now, how would you define advantageous? If I
had you in a classroom at this moment, I would stop the lecture and ask all participants to answer that question in their
notebook as I have little doubt that none of you has ever asked yourself this question. What do you consider a spiritually
advantageous moment? Are you even prepared to give an answer to that question? Or should I begin with this question: Do you
even understand the significance of that question?
This is the type of question that is introduced in a class on mystical theology. Inevitably the discussion that it opens
up is intriguing, to say the least. A spiritually advantageous moment is one in which the “agents of change” in
your life come together in such a way that only one spark is required to set them off. You may have several change agents
at work in your life, none of which has the potency to motivate you to a next step. One more is required. Perhaps all that
is needed is one more conversation, or a delayed flight that would allow you to make one more phone call to exactly the right
person, or running into an old friend who happens to be the link to exactly the person you need to meet. You are not able
to calculate when you have amassed a sufficient number of change agents in your psyche. You are able to discern, however,
that an event or opportunity carrying an extraordinary potential of power has just been introduced into your life. As a result
of making that phone call or running into that old friend, something new was provided to you. Maybe it was a suggestion, maybe
it was positive feedback, or maybe it was a new contact. But you are left feeling renewed, as if you’ve just been rebooted
in your own skin. One spark of grace lighted at the perfect advantageous moment is all it takes and life feels good again.
Your life feels good again.
Let us examine the characteristics of a day of extraordinary grace:
An opportunity that requires a spontaneous response comes along. The ingredient of spontaneity is required, lest you
begin to project fear and failure into the opportunity, thereby self-sabotaging the potential to redirect your life. While
other opportunities come and go, one surrounded with extraordinary grace fills your solar plexus and not just your mind, making
your “head swim” with greed and ambition. Grace goes to your gut, right into your sense of who you are and what
you should do. It symbolically “grabs” hold of your identity.
Another expression of an extraordinary day of grace can come through finding out that plans you had set in motion
months or even years ago, which you had given up as failed, have been resurrected. The time wasn’t right and all of
a sudden, the time is right. A day of grace is the day everything “fell into place.”
Yet another expression of a day of grace occurs when you encounter a past love – only now both of you are available
to be together. A day of grace is the day when life begins again.
A day of grace delivers an unexpected path of healing, which could be in the form of a renewed inner resilience or
hope, or meeting a person who knows exactly how to understand and treat your condition. A day of grace is day when the tide
turns in your favor
Another expression of grace is endless delays, confusion, and chaos shattering all of your plans. You can only give
up and survive the day, bit-by-bit, going wherever the road leads you. A day of grace is when all the wrong things deliver
you to exactly the right place.
Yet another expression of grace is the day you discover that somehow a great mistake was righted through something
else that you did. Perhaps it was something conscious or maybe not, but on a day of extraordinary grace, the forces work in
your favor and a mistake is made right. A day of grace is when the rules are somehow bent in your favor, just once.
Another day of grace is when your life is saved, perhaps from a car accident or something exploding in your face
or a random street incident. A day of grace is when your life is shielded from physical harm, knowingly or unknowingly.
As you can tell, you cannot coordinate these days. You cannot make them happen. They happen because of other circumstances
you have set into motion. In other words, your extraordinary days of grace come into your life because of choices that you
have made that have created gaps and needs – open spaces – that require filling.
Your challenge is to realize that you are experiencing a day of extraordinary grace and to appreciate the meaning, power,
and significance of that day. Further, it is vitally important to act on opportunities offered to you on that day. Suggestions
for your new business venture, for example, that came from a synchronistic meeting between you and another person should be
followed up on. Merely telling friends about this incredible synchronistic conversation you had with someone is a waste of
an extraordinary day of grace, to be direct. It’s up to you to follow through, to take action, to make things happen
for yourself.
Remember, grace does not do work for you. It will not “heal” you if you are not doing your part in your own
healing. Grace will not interfere with the Law of Cause and Effect; that is, for every choice we make, there is an effect
or a consequence. If we make a foolish or stupid choice, we pay a price by having to deal with the consequence of our choices.
Grace does not compensate or erase our stupid or foolish choices, any more than prayer does. In order to appreciate the nature
and power of grace, and the gift of an extraordinary day of grace, you have to grasp how the power of grace manifests in your
life and how it does not. Grace is not a “fix-it” force. It is an inspirational, mystical power that awakens you
from within.
As I thought about this subject, I queried a few friends on this question: Would you want to be in charge of determining
when you received your seven days of extraordinary grace each year? We had such a fun discussion. One friend said, “I’m
very frugal. I would hold on to them.”
Another friend determined that she would be very nervous about having that type of “wealth in a safe in her own
home.” What a great analogy, I thought, yes? She was exactly right, as seven days of grace is exactly like having gold
in a safe at home and you left to determine when and how to spend it. A third person said he would absolutely use all seven
days in one month. He would “go for the gold” in one blast.
I asked each person, “Would you be more inclined to use a day of grace in the midst of a crisis or when you are
calm and undistracted?” Would you see your days of grace as financial crisis solvers or a day of soulful renewal? Which
is of more value to you?
Those questions ended up leading into one more fascinating area of discussion after another. It seemed like this subject
opened a vast discussion. For that reason, I am carrying it over to the June Salon, which will be Part II on this topic. In
the June Salon, I will explore those questions along with:
A discussion of grace and prayer.
What would most people do: take charge of their seven days or let heaven determine when they receive the gift of
a day of grace?
Merging the Seven Days of Grace with Your Seven Chakras, just for discussion.
Could each day contain this grace?
Let me encourage you to think about the days of this year – just this year – that have been game changers
for you. They have contained certain ingredients that have motivated you to move ahead, to make positive changes, to do something
you’ve been postponing, but on that day, you acted. See if you can identify the presence of grace in your life that
day:
What was it about that day that made it different?
Do you remember how you felt that day?
What types of choices did you make that day that you would call “out of character?”
What results have occurred in your life as a result of those choices, and would you consider these results as special
or surprising?
Have there been any changes in your life that qualify as “beyond your expectations” as a result
of acting on a grace that you identified?
I’ll close this Salon by asking you to reflect on whether you would want to be in charge of when to receive
your Seven Extraordinary Days of Grace, or whether you would leave the wisdom of that decision to the heavens. We’ll
continue with this discussion in the next Salon.
Meanwhile, Happy Summer.
Love,
Caroline

What To Do When You’re Freaking Out and Scared
by Talyaa Liera
July 2012
===========================================
Okay, you’re scared. It’s time to talk about scared.
Fine. I am one to talk. I spent the better part of an hour today freaking out inside and feeling super scared about something
that is going on right now in my life. A big something with a capital B-big. After an hour of feeling scared, I thought that
was enough. So I decided to do something about it. And I am going to tell you what I did to talk myself through my scaredyness
and freaking out-y-ness, because I know that sometimes you feel scared. And it feels terrible. I know it feels terrible. It
feels hopeless and terrifying and impossible. You want someone or something to make it all better when it feels like this.
I am going to walk you through your scared place to the other side of it. I can’t make it all better but I can
hold your hand and tell you some things that will help change your experience (if you are feeling scared now), or some other
day down the road when you need it.
But first, a question. What is it, exactly, that you are scared of?
I have this hypothetical friend who is a writer. (Okay, it’s me, but let’s pretend it’s not, okay?)
She is writing a book and from time to time I lend a willing ear while she talks things through so she can get to the next
step of writing her book. One day she told me she felt stuck. Couldn’t write a word, or the words were coming so slowly
that snails were racing one another on the pages and were winning.
(small detour while you consider what happens when snails race across the book you’re trying to write)
“Okay, you’re stuck,” I said. “What are you afraid of?”
“I am afraid I will never finish this book, ” she said. “It will never get written. No one will hear
my story. If no one hears my story, I am afraid it isn’t important.”
Bingo.
Creative folk have stories to tell. Women who create (that’s you, whether or not you pick up a paintbrush or glue
gun — you’re a woman, ergo you create) feel more real and alive when they have a way to express and share their
story. It’s like the Zen koan about the tree falling in the forest: if a woman’s story dies inside her and no
one hears it, did it really happen? Is she truly alive?
Maybe what you fear isn’t of not being alive. Maybe it’s something else, something closer to home that kicks
you in the gut. Like, maybe you want a baby so badly you can taste it but you are afraid you will 1) never find a partner
or 2) never feel ready or 3) that you will turn into your mother somehow when you do have a baby. Or, maybe you have 3 kids
already and your belly has become a squishy road map and you are afraid you’ll never have a moment’s peace or
that you will have to do the raising-kids thing alone or that you will never ever write that novel or paint that picture.
Maybe you fear failing, or Not failing, or that someone long ago was right about you when they said you’d never be happy
or amount to much..
Figuring out what you are really scared of isn’t easy
Our minds play tricks on us that make it hard to find out what really scares us. We think we fear one thing but there
is almost always, 99 times out of 100, something deeper and darker that we are Really scared of.
So, to figure out what to do when you feel scared, first you have to lay all your cards on the table. Get some light
on what scares you. When your fears are in the dark, they get stronger. They have more power. Have you noticed that?
Remember years ago when you were checking under your bed for monsters? You just knew that if you dangled a foot over
the edge of the bed, or made a run for it to get to the bathroom, you’d be swallowed up by the horrible monster under
your bed, right? But did you ever notice that you Never Saw the Monster in Daylight? That’s because monsters need darkness.
So get yours out into the light.
This is how you do that..
Step #1. But first! Breathe!
Our bodies are quite amazing. They protect us from all sorts of threats. This is one reason we have survived so long
as a species, because our bodies instinctively knew what to do when there were saber tooth tigers nearby.
The problem is, when we feel scared All the Time, we forget to tell our hypothalamus to chill out. Hypothalamus? That’s
the part of our brain that goes “OMG OMG Tigers!” and then does a fight-flight-or-freeze response so we don’t
get eaten by tigers and miss all the episodes of So You Think You Can Dance that we haven’t yet caught up on.
The hypothalamus activates the sympathetic nervous system, making us tense and alert. It also tells the adrenal-cortical system
to dump a cocktail of hormones into our system. Eeek!
The result of all this (OMG OMG Tigers!) is that we stand ready for fight, flight, or freeze. One way of being ready
is by regulating the breath: when we feel scared we take quick little shallow breaths from the top of our chest.
So when you are feeling scared about, say, not finishing the book you are writing, your body is interpreting this as
OMG OMG Tigers! And you aren’t breathing.
Quickest fix on the planet for being scared: breathe.
Quickest fix on the planet for being scared: breathe.
Slow down your breathing. Freaking out? A little? Right now? Then breathe. Relax your belly. Breathe down into your lower
belly. Place your feet flat on the floor. Breathe down into the soles of your feet. Nice, full, deep breaths.
Works like a charm. That is Step #1. Return to Step #1 as often as you need to.
Or! Bonus! Sometimes when you breathe, you get space for Perspective. Which means that the horrible Thing that you were
afraid of isn’t that horrible after all. Like in the morning when the monsters go back under the bed where they came
from.
However. Still need to carry on? Awesome. Then you are ready for Step #2..
Step #2. Operation Daylight
Ask yourself, What is the worst thing that can happen?
Now, I know what you are thinking. You are thinking that if you think about the worst thing that can happen, that You
Will Make It Come True. You will get stuck in suck, an endless whirlpool of What If and Things Gone Horribly Wrong. I am here
to tell you that it doesn’t work that way. You have magic superpowers, yes, but making your worst fear come true is
not one of them. Not if you do it the way I am going to tell you.
So when you ask yourself What is the worst thing that can happen, really go into it. Don’t hold back. Be ridiculous.
If, like my hypothetical writer-friend, you worry that you will never finish your project, then go all the way with it. Don’t
stop with, “I have this nameless fear about never finishing this book.” Keep going. Think about what could happen
when you do not ever finish your book. Your story stays inside you. No one reads it. No one truly “gets” you.
Your story isn’t important.
Still with me?
In your Worst Case Scenario, you live a life that is unimportant. Feel what that feels like for a sec. Stay with it.
Now, go deeper. What does living an unimportant life say about you? Or, rather, what are you afraid it might say about
you?
That you’re a loser?
That you are invisible?
That you are a fuck-up?
That no one likes you?
That you
don’t deserve good things?
That you are alone?
Chances are, your fear of not finishing your creative project comes from a deeper fear like one of these. These are
pretty universal fears.
You can apply Operation Daylight on any fear — deep down, there is always a primal fear (my life is meaningless)
that we are touching when we feel into one of our surface fears (I might not finish my book).
Now that you are open and vulnerable and feeling into the Deep Suck of your primal fear, it’s time to throw open
the doors and windows and really get into your fear. We are going to play What If.
Step #3. A little game I call What If…?
Playing What If can be amazingly empowering. All sorts of good things open up and appear magically when you Let Go of
what you’ve resisted and instead Open Up to All That is. There is true gold inside your fear! You just have to get inside
it enough to see the gold.
This is how What If works. You try on how it feels to be what you most fear. Try it on and wear it like a really cool
and unusual outfit. For instance — don’t think you’re much of a Steampunk girl? You never know until you’ve
strapped on a pair of goggles over your top hat — maybe Steampunk really IS you, the You that was deep inside underneath.
Try on your fears the way you might a maxi dress, or a thong — you don’t know how it feels until you let yourself
Feel it.
Here we go with an example of how playing What If might go if you apply it to the fear of Being a Loser:
What If… you are a loser?
If I am a loser then no one likes me. No one ever calls me. My clothes probably smell, because I forget to do my laundry.
I eat a lot of cookies, because, why not? I watch a lot of TV.
[insert voice of Sigmund Freud, pushing his glasses up on his nose and scribbling notes on a pad while you talk]
Yes, yes…go on…
If I am a loser, I lose my job. I have to get another job. But everyone knows I am a loser, so I can’t get
a job in my old field anymore. I have to do something else…. something…
Yes, yes…go on…
I watch a Lot of TV. Boy, do I ever know TV! Huh. I could write way better scripts than they can. With one hand tied
behind my back. Hey! Maybe I should! I should write screen plays! That would be…like…fun!
So you have hypothetically let go of your job? Very in-te-res-ting. How does that feel?
It feels…good. I’m a loser. Hey! I’m A Loser! I have nothing to lose. Because I Am a loser. No one
expects anything of me. I can let go of pleasing. I can let go of trying. I can do what I want. Make use of all that TV I’ve
watched all these years. I can just be… me.
And… I’m Not a loser. I was just afraid that I was one, so… I kind of WAS one. Huh.
Next up: firing Dr. Freud, getting off that couch, and turning your frown upside down.
Step #4. Turn That Frown Upside Down
So you touched into your deep fear, and you walked in it. You found out that what scared you wasn’t so scary
after all.
Now go tell someone else about it.
There is power in sharing yourself. your story, and your process. There is power in opening a part of yourself to someone
else and letting them take you in — the new, bigger You. Once you share your fear with someone, you are ready to take
action. You’re no longer reacting to tigers. You can choose wisely and choose well, and from a place that helps you
make better and better choices in the future.
Congratulations. That’s what “facing your fears” Really is.
And the thing I was afraid of? I slayed that bad boy
First I breathed. Then I listened in and deep to my inner voice. I heard what it was I was really afraid of. And I chose
to keep the door closed to the Whirlpool of Suck and to instead focus on my Daring Plan of Action. And now I am telling you
about it. My fear? A silly thing about money — not having any. My deeper fear was that my work doesn’t matter,
that I don’t matter. My way through was to focus on what I know that does matter, and how that feels. And now I have
told you. Thanks for listening.

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders Exposes 26 Billionaires Manipulating Election
================================================================
Stephen: While we don’t run stories on actual election campaigns in any country per se, this story offers a
glimpse into the cabal/political machinations that apply to possibly every country in the world.
Here, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders continues his ‘outing’ of truths, as he again displays a brand of political
courage that is in line with the new paradigm. Gotta love this man.
Interestingly, not one woman among this list. Thanks to John Smallman.
Bernie Sanders Exposes the 26 Billionaires Who are Buying the 2012 Election
By Jason Easley, Politics USA –
July 24, 2012
In his new report, America For Sale: A Report on Billionaires Buying the 2012 Election, Sen. Bernie Sanders named names
and called out the billionaires who using Citizens United to buy our democracy.
In front of a Senate panel today, Sen. Bernie Sanders outed the 26 billionaires who are members of 23 billionaire families
that are using Citizens United to buy elections. Sen. Sanders estimated that these 26 billionaires are the tip of the iceberg.
“My guess is that number is really much greater because many of these contributions are made in secret. In other
words, not content to own our economy, the 1 percent want to own our government as well.”
Sanders explained how the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision put the government up for sale, “What
the Supreme Court did in Citizens United is to say to these same billionaires and the corporations they control: ‘You
own and control the economy, you own Wall Street, you own the coal companies, you own the oil companies. Now, for a very small
percentage of your wealth, we’re going to give you the opportunity to own the United States government.’”
Sen. Sanders also did the last thing the billionaires wanted. He called them out by name.
According to the report, America for Sale: A Report on Billionaires Buying the 2012 Election, here are the 26 billionaires
who are trying to buy your government:
1. Sheldon Adelson, owner of the Las Vegas Sands Casino, is worth nearly $25 billion, making him the 14th wealthiest
person in the world and the 7th richest person in America. While median family income plummeted by nearly 40% from 2007-2010,
Mr. Adelson has experienced a nearly eightfold increase in his wealth over the past three years (from $3.4 billion to $24.9
billion). Forbes recently reported that Adelson is willing to spend a “limitless” amount of money or more than
$100 million to help defeat President Obama in November.
2,3,4. The Kochs (David, Charles, and William) are worth a combined $103 billion, according to Forbes. They have pledged
to spend about $400 million during the 2012 election season. The Kochs own more wealth than the bottom 41.7 percent of American
households or more than 49 million Americans.
5. Jim Walton is worth $23.7 billion. He has donated $300,000 to super PACs in 2012.
6. Harold Simmons is worth $9 billion. He has donated $15.2 million to super PACs this year.
7. Peter Thiel is worth $1.5 billion. He has donated $6.7 million to Super PACs this year.
8. Jerrold Perenchio is worth $2.3 billion. He has donated $2.6 million to super PACs this year.
9. Kenneth Griffin is worth $3 billion and he has given $2.08 million to super PACs in 2012.
10. James Simons is worth $10.7 billion and he has given $1.5 million to super Pacs this year.
11. Julian Robertson is worth $2.5 billion and he has given $1.25 million to super PACs this year.
12. Robert Rowling is worth $4.8 billion and he has given $1.1 million to super PACs.
13. John Paulson, the hedge fund manager who made his fortune betting that the sub-prime mortgage market would collapse,
is worth $12.5 billion. He has donated $1 million to super PACs.
14,15. Richard and J.W. Marriott are worth a combined $3.1 billion and they have donated $2 million to super PACs this
year.

The thing that these billionaires love most about Citizens United it is that it allows them to operate in total darkness.
The American people couldn’t fight back because the billionaires were giving their money anonymously. This same cloak
of invisibility is what made ALEC so effective for years. The conservative billionaire cabal works best in private, behind
closed doors, far away from curious eyes.
With his report today, Sen. Sanders has made it more difficult for thieves of liberty to keep operating in the night.
We now have a list of names and we know what they are trying to do to our government. Sen. Sanders is one of the few federally
elected officials who has the courage to talk about these people in public.
Most of the members of the House and Senate are too afraid to speak of, much less take on, the billionaires. Even those
decent members of Congress who might speak out against them have been terrified into silence by threats of multimillion dollar
negative ad buys that will run against the incumbent back home.
Bernie Sanders is displaying a brand of political courage that is sorely lacking in American politics today, and he needs
you to stand with him to protect our liberties, our freedoms, and to battle to return the government back to the American
people.
