Teacher: Spirit-Self.
Subject: “Inner Joy.”

Spirit-Self: “When I requested for you to take dictation, you asked Me if you could remain in the Silence a little longer, because you felt this deep inner joy My presence brings you. Dear one, I am totally delighted with your request, and I will honor such at any time, as this is a sure sign of progress in the human soul.

“It is wonderful when a trusting child would rather stay with a parent than go out to play. On the one hand this shows a certain hunger for company, on the other hand he or she feels totally comfortable and trusting in the presence of one who invokes such deep joy that one prefers to stay ‘just a little longer’.

“These signs of soul progress are a cause for celebration in the spiritual realms. You will come to navigate these realms after you have shed your mortal habiliments, just like when something in a pupa stirs to life and a gorgeous butterfly emerges. You can hardly imagine what a joy this is for the celestial onlookers who marvel at what sort of butterfly will emerge from its pupa when the newly born soul emerges at its resurrection into the light of the mansion worlds.

“Great is the celebration by the throngs of onlookers when a spirit-soul arrives from the evolutionary worlds, especially from such a disordered world like Urantia. It is always amazing to them when a newcomer has managed to nurture and grow their soul on such worlds in space. On some worlds the journey is much easier, but on your planet the journey is so very difficult indeed with all those confusing belief systems.

“It would be so much easier if little children were allowed to develop their trust in the eternal Creator God under the guidance and example of stable parenthood, rather than having an adult religion being spoon-fed to them. Children are by their nature very trusting and they can readily accept a Creator, who loves them so very deeply with an abiding affection – one who accepts them unconditionally. Such children will happily grow up with a deep trust and joy in their hearts, as their minds are as yet unsullied by negativity, for negativity is so common in the superstitions which abound in your religions with all their do's and dont's.

“True spirituality is wholly uncomplicated. It is mankind which over time has complicated matters to such an extend that mortals have a hard time discovering the simple truth that the Creator God loves them unconditionally, and that each one can develop a personal relationship with the God of their being, so a deep inner joy begins to grow with the trust that all is well.

“All it takes is for one to be willing to set apart some time each day and to consciously be in the presence of the vital Spark from God, and to imbibe of that inner joy, which is so soul nurturing and satisfying. This experiential realization can be had by anyone making the effort. Such can result in a deep inner joy, which makes life worth living, and surely more interesting.”

Dear Ones,

You are probably concerned that you are not yet good enough for this changing world. That others are more skilled, spiritual or just know more than you. Such is not the case, but you have yet to accept that fact. And it truly is a fact - for all, but a very few, question their ability to create this massive transition.

Perhaps you are tired of this theme - you have heard it so many times. Yet, such repetition does not change your belief that you are not as special as others. There are some who channel - you cannot. There are some who planet hop - you cannot.

Is that any different from some 3D humans had an eye-catching sense of design and others did not? Or that some could repair just about anything, but others could not?

You have always had unique skill sets for a reason. Perhaps you elected to be a fashion designer in this life so you have a flair with colors and patterns. So it is that your skills, your interests are right for this time, in this life - as has always been true.

You are continuously reminded to follow your joy - for that is your role now. Perhaps you are interested in model trains - as important a skill as planet hopping if that if part of your role.

This transition will be completed by those whose role fits perfectly within the puzzle or tapestry of this transition - which is all of you of earth in this lifetime.

Do you suppose someone who felt great joy burning others at the stake would have a place in new earth? But was not such a person required when fear was the lesson of the day?

Your unique skills and joy are right for a love-based earth and the Universes.

Perhaps you are wondering how you will know when your skill set is to be used or important for this transition. Now.

Not that all of you will lite up at the same time, as much as it is time to discover who you are. The first piece of that - now that you have cleansed your being of 3D rubble - is to discover your joy, your interests.

Perhaps you will not use those interests for some time. Or perhaps you will only need a small part of an interest in the future.

Do not feel as if you must awake one day completely skilled and ready to take your place in this amazing transition. Maybe you will, but it is more likely you will put pieces together until the whole of whatever your skill set is created. For example, Steve Jobs, founder of Apple and creator of some of the first personal computers, had difficulties understanding the relevancy of his college coursework. For no particular reason, he decided to take a calligraphy class. That class was the basis of the fonts you now use with your various computer devices.

Perhaps a history class will result in meeting someone important for your next step. Or perhaps just something you find enjoyable. It does not matter. There are no grades nor right nor wrong. There is only discovering and following your path of joy.

No one but you can fulfill your role - so no one needs to understand your joy. It is your role and your joy. If Steve Jobs had been your child, you probably would have encouraged him to select more professional (i.e., financial productive) classes. And so it goes for you and those you love.

All are starting to find their unique paths. Perhaps you are wondering if such is true for the newly awakened. Yes - for some. The newly awakened are transitioning more rapidly than was true for you. Some are starting their cleansing process and others completed it within hours. You believe such is not possible for your process required months or even years.

You scout masters created the path for those who followed. So some newly awakened are finding their unique path, as are you. And others are just starting to cleanse.

As a group, you scout masters are the most cohesive of any group - a bit like a military advance guard. Those that follow might be battle-seasoned or new recruits, quick learners or befuddled newbies. Yet, they are where they are because of your ground breaking, loving work. So be it. Amen.

Subject: “Connecting with One’s Spirit-Self.”

The Scribe: “It is with gratitude that I once more accept your casual invitation for me to feel welcome and at home in your nearness. They are those mortals on an unwavering path into an uncertain future – yet steadfast in spirituality, and with the conviction of reaching Paradise … some shiny day … and ‘who would care about how long it might take’ – which can be casual, although well meaning, always.

“Today I wish to converse with you about mortals connecting with their Spirit Selves. In clarification of a somewhat routine procedure: Planets which have attained their era of Light and Life, do as a matter of cause receive a preponderance of Virgin Adjusters to indwell their mortals. These humans, living in truth, beauty and goodness, have a greater capacity to initiate contact and connect with their Indwellers. Although perfect as is the Creator Himself, Virgin Adjusters lack all experience, but for that which was taught by their experienced kin.

“Worlds in their primitive stages are more liberally supplied with the more experienced, Advanced Adjusters, and these will generally play a rather greater part in initiating the connection between Spirit and mind to the benefit of the mortal soul. In all of the universes there is not a place where strict rules do not apply, but likewise, wherever you might travel, fair play is also the rule. They are the truly barbarian planets, and the rebellious ones, that are generously gifted with the Supreme Adjusters of the highest standing and greatest achievements.

“On a world such as yours these Supreme Indwellers will often be the first to awaken the mortal minds by taking their awareness along on ‘astral flight’, or by approaching human curiosity ‘of there being something more to life’ through the imprinting of certain visual or audible events before their actual happenings, déjà vu. They are the universal rules of fairness and evenhandedness which – where talent, intellect and education may be lacking – offer such opportunities, so that these free-will mortals will not be spiritually disadvantaged.

“On such a world, your world, it pays to build a relationship with one’s Adjuster – Virgin, Advanced or Supreme – by acknowledging the Indweller before retiring each night and upon awakening each morning. It pays to strengthen the relationship by discussing the project for the day, one’s concerns and one’s delights. It pays to honor that valuable relationship by in detail discussing all future plans, and asking for, and waiting for an opinion, even casually.

“Indeed, make friends, because in time you will become One. Yes, in time, whilst in eternity this is already seen as being the case. This is the Damascus Scribe, deeply in love with you all.”

Heavenletter #4911 Where Were You When the Floors Needed to Be Swept?, May 6, 2014

God said:

I do not apologize for Life on Earth. I created a beautiful Creation, and you live in it. It is as if I am a Landlord, and I provide you with a beautiful place to live. As you live here, you kind of trash it. You let it go. You leave things around. You don’t even notice what you are doing or not doing. You take the beautiful place for granted, and, then, when your housing is no longer to your liking, you gripe about it and the Landlord.

Where were you, beloved, when the floors needed to be swept? Where were you when you stepped on flowers? Now, do you complain about the lack of flowers? Is pointing out errors your purpose?

Because you may have indigestion, would you complain to the Chef of a fine restaurant that his cooking gave you indigestion? Probably not, yet you might complain to a friend about the indigestible food at the fine restaurant. And your friend would nod his head, and say, “Yeah, isn’t that awful.” And then two of you feel above it all.

Whose responsibility is your digestion?

And yet, you complain to Me about the world you live in, seemingly separated from Me. You may even like the idea that I am, according to your perception, quite far away, rather anonymous somewhere up in the sky. You are bold about what you have to say so long as I am far away. I doubt that you would come up to Me or sit before Me and list your complaints or ask Me personally for explanations as you may rant and rave.

Some may like to leave trash around and complain to Me about it.

This is not to say that I lack understanding of what you are displeased with. Nevertheless, I will tell you to get up out of your rocking chair and make one room in your house nice, or plant one flower, or sweep one porch. Never say there is nothing you can do. There is something you can do right now. I am not speaking of an uproar, beloveds. I am speaking of your getting up and polishing something. Literally and metaphorically, remove obstacles, and then what will there be for you to complain about?

Whatever you do or don’t do, don’t be a Monday morning quarterback, as if there is a you and there is an I on opposite sides.

You may perceive that you cannot to turn the world on its axis, yet you can get up and leave complaints behind you. This is a good start. And, then, when you see something that needs attending to, you can attend to it without making a big scene about it. If there are dust bunnies under the bed, get them out.

What can you do to bring back the Garden of Eden? Pointing out errors won’t bring it back. What is the Garden of Eden? It is a metaphor. It is a beautiful metaphor. It is a beautiful metaphor, and it is a beautiful Reality. There is Truth within it. Just as love is part of your heart, so is Eden part of you.

Now you will become more purposeful. You will take part more and drag your feet less. You will put your shoulders back, and you will, on occasion, jump for joy. There is no joy in complaining. Blame is a partner of complaint.

If you don’t like the way someone set the table, add a flower to the table. Add appreciation. If you don’t love the weather, love it anyway. Go out in it.
