When someone we love leaves this earth instead of grieving and thinking of it as a loss, we should feel blessed for having had them in our lives for the length of time 'they chose' to be with us. We should feel joy that they have moved on to another life, another adventure for their soul growth.
 
Death is an illusion . . . it does not exist. As all is energy and energy cannot die it just changes form. Your consciousness is eternal.

The Changing of the Guard

In several client readings this week the message to the parent was clear, it is time to let go, move on and allow the new generation to take on the work that we have begun. We may not think they are prepared or capable but that is not our decision to make-it is time for a change of the guard, to allow new energies bring their own healing and change to the world but in order for that to happen we need to let go, something which is not easy for us to do.
 
All of us know that we have taken on a huge task and it has been such a challenging time. Most of us, for the first half of our lives, have struggled alone, wondering when we would ever be able to find the peace, security and stability that has never been part of our lives. One thing we have become good at is starting over, re-creating ourselves and re-establishing our lives. We've had lots of practice but now we have to learn to let go, to let a new generation take over the roles we have held for so long and we're not letting it happen very easily.
 
I have noticed with many Indigos and Crystals, including me, that we are entering the second half of our lives now and it will be much different than the first half. For many of us this will be a fresh start, a new life and lifestyle and we have a generation that we have prepared to take over our roles in creating a new paradigm for the earth. But we don't want to let go because we don't want them to mess up, to break what we have worked so hard to create, so we don't have to go through this again. 
 
Just as we have to allow our children to grow up, we also have to allow ourselves to move on and let them take over. The small, still voice that is urging you to move to a different place, start a relationship, start your business, take time for yourself, live your dreams, is also the one that is telling you that you can let go of the reins, do the handover to the next generation and let them take over what we have been doing. They are ready, they will not fail and it is their job. We can't expect them to step into their power until we let them and we have to do that, at some point, so they can get started. So it's time to take a big breath, to give ourselves a chance to live our dreams, to let go of the responsibility we are holding onto so tightly and to know that the generation we have prepared for this role is now ready to assume it. It's time for the new generation to get to work and the 'old' generation to have fun.
