Subject: “A New Chapter” (a personal message).
“Free Will and a Second Birth.”

Spirit-Self: “From now on I shall be known as your Spirit-Self, whilst you are, and always have been, My little spirit-self, growing ever so slowly into My greater Spirit-Self! Do consider that this name change is not merely another statement. It is a direct request from your Thought Adjuster within. The name The Beloved One places me somewhere outside of you, which is not correct. I do appreciate that you often call Me your Beloved. However, after many lessons and much grief and struggle your eternal soul has attained some worthwhile development as you are finally realizing that I am closer to you than your hands and feet, or even your breath.

“I have existed within you ever since you could consciously think for yourself and make your decisions, rightly or wrongly. We are now embarking on a new chapter, a higher stage in evolutionary soul-development, and we mark this with a name change. This evolutionary development indicates a very important occasion for the human soul albeit not often noticed by the personalities that host these Gifts from God. Some time ago at your request I became your Thought Controller, rather than your Thought Adjuster, and you are now becoming more conscious of the fact that there are many ways in which to improve your behavior.

“Even though this is a most intimate and private conversation between a mortal and her heavenly Helper and Guide; I desire that you put our conversation in print just perchance there are others who have their own private soul-struggles and seemingly have no one to confide in. The time is becoming more urgent to let it be known that all thinking humans on this planet have a similar Wayshower from God within. I use the term ‘similar’ because even though we hail from the Source of the All Being, we have dissimilar experiences. The mortals we now inhabit share their diverse experiences with us. The Adjusters who inhabited mortals on other planets in space and time, but who were not elected, or could not be elected, to share eternal life with their human counterparts, gained different experiences again.

“Human free will is sacrosanct, and even angels are not allowed to interfere. It is always the mortal him or herself, who chooses immortality. This fact has been made possible by the Grace and unconditional Love of the Creator God. Mortals capable of independent thought, are also gifted at birth with an urge in their personalities to return to Paradise after their ascension journey through the various levels of learning to become perfected beings. Sometimes this happens on the planet of their birth, but usually it comes about during their Morontia existence. Before they become a young spirit, they develop the spiritual capacity to become one with their Godly Gift by the method of fusion. This mighty occasion marks the second birth of the human from mortality to immortality.”

Heavenletter #4893 You Cannot Know Life by Its Cover, April 18, 2014

God said:

Sometimes it is hard for you to trust. Sometimes, this is even so when it comes to Me. You may in theory consider Me all-knowing. Certainly you would call Me omniscient and omnipresent and so forth. Yes, you would. You probably would. Yet, when it comes to a specific incident in your life, you are not so sure that I know anything at all.

The thing is, beloveds, you can’t look at life piecemeal. You cannot know life by the cover. Of course, you want your life to come up roses. You would like to pick your own flowers, and everything would be jim-dandy. The thing is that you see piecemeal. You don’t see the whole trail or the purpose of it. You may be thinking that, if you have to climb a mountain, the mountain does not have to be so steep. You wonder why I do not provide more footholds. You may get to the top and then wonder what the whole climb was for. Now you have a greater view, and, yet now, you have to go back down the mountain.

You may see your youth as climbing the mountain and aging as descending the mountain. It’s understandable that you ask the question Why, and yet Why gets you a winding reply and doesn’t really answer your puzzled heart.

Every moment of this life you live is precious. It is a very precious moment. Life seems to come to you in increments, and, yet, as you have heard, there is only this moment. If you could experience this moment without a before and without an after, you would hold this moment in the palm of your hand, and you would see it as the precious jewel that it is. As it is, you tend to see progression or regression or aggression. You add or subtract from this moment of life on Earth, and you object.

Even if your life, as you see it, is in disarray, you can be happy just the same. If you could but accept the miracle that life is and that you are, your life as it is would pick up a new tempo. Just as there are many kinds of music, just as there are many kinds of dances and no matter how much you may delight in music and dance, you resist the changing music and dance of life. You want one tune, and you want it constantly. You want one note for your life, and you want that one note to be only high. That’s what you think anyway. That’s what you like to think.

You may think that life is to unfold in one way, yet life unfolds in another.

Beloveds, life is rich. Life is not Johnny-One-Note, yet you tell yourself you would prefer it one way. Not only do you believe you would prefer, you believe you are supposed to have it just as you would prefer life to be. You feel something is the matter when life doesn’t hand you what you desire. No matter how dire your life and life itself may seem to you, you cannot order life around. You may lead it. You may have brought it to you, and yet you protest. How can you trust in God when, from your point of view, your limited point of view, you feel I make mistakes and, sometimes, big ones? You are insistent that life is supposed to be different, yet life is what it is, and, just the same, your life is what you make of it.

What if you did not make judgments? What if, if you must assess, you could assess life differently? What if you could accept that it’s okay for a lion to roar and a mouse to squeak and life to be as it comes down the chute? What if you could know that there is more to life than what you see? What if you could truly know that life is a gift in all its aspects and not just some? There is something in it for you to be alive on Earth and not object to or protest so much.

Mentor: “On this day we shall compose an open letter to all humanity of good will on Urantia. This letter will be a call to action as time is getting short, and corrections for humanity that have been planned ever since about 2000 years in the past will affect all her inhabitants, none excepted. Present day peoples are beginning to search their bibles and other so-called holy books for clues as to why, at this time, things are in such turmoil on the planet.

“Ever since the crucifixion of the beloved Ruler of this wonderful universe, things have never yet settled down here. He elected to arrive as a babe in arms and grow up to reveal God’s love to all of his creation. Instead, you all know how his wonderful life ended and his merciful message of the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Men was rejected, or at best distorted in different ways to suit the population of that time. Please reject that strange idea that he had to pay with his life as ransom for all your misdeeds and sins.

“My friends, the truth is that you, each, are responsible for your own actions, reactions, non-actions – sins of omission and commission. The call has gone forth to accept the invitation from the Creator God, to become perfect like this great majestic Being, who knows no gender and accepts all as equals.

“The time has come to stand up for your basic rights to have a decent quality of life, to be able to evolve and grow the way God intended and to all be accepted as equals. Do you ever stop to realize that all your basic freedoms are so very covertly being whittled away and that laws are being put in place of which you have no knowledge? Do not for one moment think that God will come down from the heavens to rescue you all.

“God has given you free will and a healthy mind to think, choose and act. It is up to you to walk the better way of love, which has been here all along. And whenever you start walking in God’s ways towards the Light, all heaven will rush out to support you. Also, it is up to you to make friends and start communicating with your mighty Guides from God within by listening to their prompts, so you will be able to become the awakening citizens so badly needed on this beleaguered planet.

The Time of Correction has been heralded and heavenly beings are standing by, willing to help but they are waiting for humanity to act. Start working on prevention before more freedoms are taken away. I am mentioning these things as certain iniquitous sources are braiding a noose around your necks with nefarious laws which do not serve the general populace, only their selves, as they are after world domination.

“Soon your internet will be so tightly controlled by them that messages such as these might no longer see the light of day. Beloved children of God, how long will you still sleep before you wake up and use your trust and faith muscles?”
