9-10-14 On Becoming Perfect

A Master or a Guru does not remove the doubt, but He creates more doubt. The more you burn in the fire of doubt, the more strong you come out to be.

Subject: “On Becoming Perfect.”

Received by Lytske.

Mentor: “What I am about to divulge is for the edification of all who have an ear to hear and a mind to comprehend the deeper meaning, and the purpose, of living. There is much that is not revealed to the human eye, but can be, and is, divulged to the discerning mind. The reason for this is that many people don’t take the time to think deeply enough to discover hidden meanings, everywhere, even abounding in nature. It is only during the last century or so that humans have been able to develop instruments powerful enough to discover things that have always been there. The wonders of nature; when discovered with time-lapse photography, are no longer hidden.

“These wonders are for all who take the time to observe matters that bring them closer to the creative powers of God. It is for the discerning mind and eye to find itself closer to so-called miracles. The wonders of discovery are never ending, as even when a raindrop or a snowflake are examined, not one is alike, as each is designed differently. Ponder the deeper meaning of all this, for even the myriad stars are each unique, and the eternal Creator knows them all by name and number.

“Do let this realization dawn in your evolving minds and see where these thoughts lead you. Do take the time and figure out where your place is in the scheme of things. What is the purpose of having been given a mind, is it to be used or squandered? Is it to lie dormant and undeveloped? Is it to get stuck in some rigid dogma or theology dreamed up by some human long gone, or might there perhaps be a chance for some independent active connection to the All That Is?

“Consider this most important matter. How is it that you humans have been given this precious life to live? What will you answer your celestial overseers, once you exchange your material bodies for one befitting your undying spirit-soul? Will there be some substance like love and goodwill, compassion, tolerance and forgiveness embedded in your souls? Contemplate these things, please, as you humans can entertain some very weird ideas that you will be perfect once you leave your planetary abode. Such is an extremely childish fantasy, and it is high time to burst that bubble of fanciful superstition. Such would be too easy with nothing worthwhile gained.

“The Gods have provided, for each soul called to life on the planets of space, a most wonderful and intriguing ascension journey, but only if you be so willing, since you have also been given free will to follow, or not to follow, the leading of your indwelling Sparks from God. The Gods literally weep at the stubbornness of you lowly creatures, that you simply are too willful being totally immersed in your own programs, forgetting that there is a higher purpose to living. The question begs to be asked: ‘When will humanity wake up and hear the Still Voice calling from within their hearts that there is a most beautiful eternal journey waiting for all of you?’ Get out of your little boxes and put your God-given thinking caps on, so you can proceed according to the mandate of God, to become perfect, like He is.”

Heavenletter #5038 The Art of Worry, September 10, 2014

God said:

Listen to Me. There is nothing to worry about. You can stop worrying right now. Half the time, you don’t even know what you are worrying about. You feel something unidentifiable hanging over you, and you worry about a vagueness. Worry assails you. And if you did not worry, you might worry about not worrying. What is worry all about anyway?

Worry has been such a hanger-on with you. You don’t know how to deal with its consultations and the anxiety it stirs within you. Be done with anxiety. What would you have to worry about then?

Worry with a focus also preoccupies you, as though worry is a safety measure that will offer you dispensation from cause for worry, and so you worry without cause. You can always scrimmage around for a worry.

Let’s face it. You have become expert at worry. You have become a professional worrier. Be less practiced in the art of worry. Be a novice. Better yet, don’t worry at all.

Worry holds you back. You teeter and totter with worry. You abuse yourself with worry. Worry brings you more and more and better worries. I ask you to desist from worry. You don’t need worry to pass the time. Get out of the worry mode.

If cause for worry befalls, it befalls. You don’t have to nourish it along. You are not here on Earth for the sake of worrying. Rather, you are here for a purpose that goes far beyond the reach of worry.

You have some settling down to do. Learn the art of being worry-free. Worry is a diversion. Worry takes you away from living. It keeps you on the verge of danger. Worry itself is a dangerous hobby. Worry is up to no good. It doesn’t let you sleep at night. Worry squeezes you tight. Be done with worry. No longer be seduced into it. It takes no skill, unless you consider being captive to worry a skill. Worry gnaws at you the way a mouse might gnaw at a string.

Oh, now, are you going to worry about mice in your house? What is there that you cannot worry about? Endless are your worries with new ones cropping up. Let there be an end to worrying. Be done with it. Abscond from your attachment to worry. Abscond from worry, and live life on another plane of existence. It is time now to desist from worry. Unprong worry from you as you would fingers that grab you. Worries are not real things. Worrying is counter-productive. Worries do not help you at all. Worries crowd you. They jostle you.

The only thing good about worry is when you recognize that they are needless. Then you are relieved. The absence of worry is comforting. Get rid of worry ahead of time. There is no advantage to worry. It is no help to you. Worry aggrandizes itself. Just as you take your boots off before you walk into your house, leave those pesky worries at the door as well. Keep them out. Don’t let them into the living-room of your mind. Why would you?

Worries are barbarians. They are scoundrels. They steal peace of mind from you. They stir up trouble. You have been so afraid of worry that you have let worries barge into your peace and quiet. There is no reason for you to be hospitable to them. Worries are intruders. They crash into your life. You do not have to let them in. Do not throw parties for them. Worries are thieves in the night. Put out a No Entry sign. Get out from under the weight of worries. Be free from them. Honor yourself and your life, and honor Me. Let Me in. Off with worries, in with God. Substitute Me for worries, and watch your life soar. We will go far together, and We will stay close together. Worries are a trifling thing. No longer be swayed by them. Welcome Me into your mind instead.

Sivananda Gita - 4 (Continued)
I respect all saints and prophets of all religions. I respect all religions, all cults, all faiths and all creeds.
I serve all, love all, mix with all and see the Lord in all. I stick to my promises. I serve the poor. This is my delight. I do mental prostrations to asses, dogs, trees, bricks, stones and all creatures. I respect elders and sadhus. I obey. I please all through sincere selfless service.
I attend on guests very carefully. I run hither and thither to serve them. I shampoo the legs of sick persons and sadhus.
I give very prompt reply to all my letters. I do several things at a time. I write with electric speed.
I spend everything. I do lot of charity. I do not keep anything. I take immense delight in feeding the poor and my students. I try to be a mother to them.
I talk to others on things which I have myself practised. I look within always, introspect, analyse, and examine. I hold the trishul: spiritual diary, daily routine and resolve.
I ever served my masters with great sincerity and intense faith and devotion. I learnt many useful lessons for life. I developed many virtues.
I wandered without food during my parivrajak life. I slept on the roadside at night without clothing during winter. I ate dried bread with water.
I stick tenaciously to my principles and ideals. I do not argue much. I live in silence.
I pray and do kirtan for the peace of the whole world, for the health and peace of sick people, and for the peace of the departed souls and the earth bound spirits also.
I take a dip in the Ganges in the name of all those who are longing for a bath in the Ganges.
I sing the names of all saints of all religions in the bhajan hall. I observe All-Saints day and All-Souls day.
Om. Om. Om.
