Heavenletter #5004 Beautify the World , August 7, 2014

God said:

Hello, beloveds. Today the sun is shining, and it shines on you. And I, God, am Here in Heaven and in your hearts, and, I, too, am shining on you. I penetrate your hearts, and I hold you high. I tell you to go forth and shine on the world.

You may have the sense that the world owes you a living, do you know what I mean? You and the world are reciprocal, and, if We are to speak in terms of owing, you owe the world a blessing or more.

This is your world I have given to you. I gave it with all the beauty and glow I conceived it of, and now you are to polish the world. You do that with the light in your eyes and the light in your heart and the light in your mind. Wherever the world may seem dark to you, that is where you are to shed light. Shed light instead of pointing out what appears lackluster or even dire to you. Have compassion for the world and all the people in it. They are striving as you are, and they may be fumbling even more than you are.

The world is innocent. Keep the world to your heart. Encouragement for the world comes from you.

Never did I make you the critic of the world. Fault can be found. Indeed, it can. Yet the fault line is a rift in your heart. If you want to enable the world to take its rightful place, enable your heart, beloveds. You have light within you that you are to bequeath upon the world. Do not beat the world up nor commiserate with it as though the Earth was an occasion for sadness.

Brilliant is the world, and brilliant are you.

Write a new newspaper in your heart. Inspire the world to Greatness. The world is already great, and yet it is for you to egg on the world to rise higher and be Great. You don’t push or pull the world. You don’t take it by the neck and shake it. You don’t scold it. You raise it. You elevate the world by how you look at it. What uplifts you, beloveds? Recounting your misdemeanors does not. Drop the recounting of misdemeanors, yours and the world’s. Move ahead. Pave the way for the world. Shine your light.

I cannot say too much about the importance of this.

The world is in your care as if you were a foster mother and father who want to raise a child as their own. The truth is that every child is your own, and the Earth is your own as well.

Plant flowers. Beautify the world. All that the world has been through that you may not have thought about. You have been wounded, and so has the world. Nevertheless, the world is always here for you.

Now you are restoring the world to its rightful state. You are nourishing the foster child. You love the lonely child with all your heart. You tread lightly. The world is certainly not yours to stomp on.

Treat the world with regard. Consider the world and your place in it. Consider all that the world offers you.

In what manner do you speak of the world?. How about gratefully? How about giving the world some gracious courtesy. How about showing the world good manners. How about blessing the world, and how about you yourself being a blessing to the world. Why not?

You and the world are reciprocal, so, reciprocate.

When you walk on the Earth, remember what you are walking on. What you are walking on is more than sidewalk or dirt or sand or stone or grass. Consider the world a royal carpet that I have set before you. Remember who you really are, and remember what the world really is and your fealty to it.

Illawarra District, Australia.
Thuroc the Entertainer.
Subject: “Complacency, Balance and Spiritual Illumination.”
(A more personal message).

Received by George Barnard.

Thuroc: “My short stays in this country are always enjoyed. Since the early years of this century, I have made myself a dear friend on the Australian continent, and traveling here always feels like taking off on a holiday. I present myself here now, and in looking at the receiver, I ask myself if he is awake? Perhaps. Is he asleep? Nah! In meditation? Perhaps. Is he ready? Who knows! This is Thuroc the Entertainer with, however, merely just an ordinary answer or two.

“This evening, first of all, I wish to speak to you about complacency. All over the western world, in particular, we are seeing those who are utterly complacent. They remind me of mice crawling into a trap, gorging themselves on what is laid out for them, to sooner or later chew through the thread that drops a hatch into the shute, and it will be trapped. I see complacency all around me, and it concerns me that so many are already suffering, and not properly cared for. Not many are ready for present tough times to become rather more difficult.

“So many are hungry, having not enough to eat. So many are without housing, having lost their homes. So many cannot afford to pay rent, having no jobs. And it concerns me that it is difficult for them to keep themselves warm. For those that still have a job, or a business, or a trade, I see too much complacency and they should more often reach out with a helping hand. In your caring for others beside yourself, you live a more balanced life. Knowledge, prayers and self-organization is not enough. Do become part of the herd, and share.

“That is my message so far. We will need to finish this when you are sharper. Let me know when you are ready. You need only call out my name. I am Thuroc.

Later: “During mortal life, a decidedly strenuous effort is needed for you to become, and remain, balanced, in what you eat, in what you do, in how you think, and how you feel. A balanced human being – and remember, I did not say advanced – is more real, is stronger, and more capable of dealing with trauma to the system. And this human will deal better with shocks, both positive and negative, than does the Specialist. I need not recite for you any of the many calamities that can befall a human in this irregular world.

“It is in all-round balance that one can absorb the shock of sudden spiritual enlightenment without undue discomfort. It is the Specialist – and you are well aware of the greatly advanced ones, such as Blaise Pascal and Sören Kierkegaard – who pays the price of confusion, turmoil and muddle upon receiving this great gift. One’s ‘undiluted’ attention upon one single subject over all, or on most others, may well portray the birth of fanaticism and may well bring unreality, even insanity, upon receipt of the gift of spiritual illumination.

“For billions of years this universe of universes has existed, and yet it has hardly begun. There is no hurry, ever, but for one to start to progress in this life, and carry on into eternity, always finding balance. This is Thuroc, filling in some blank spaces at your request. Adieu, my friends and occasional students.”

Instruction in Japa
Make the divine name the sheet-anchor and prop of your life. If you take to the recitation of the divine name, all inauspiciousness will certainly vanish. Om Tat Sat is the most excellent of mantras (mystic formula). One becomes a siddha (perfect being) by japa of this mantra, Om Tat Sat. By repetition of this mantra, Om Tat Sat one becomes the conqueror of death. Practice of the divine names and sincere prayer to the Lord, are the greatest purifiers of the heart and of human nature.
After selecting a suitable mantra, stick to it. Frequent change of mantra is not desirable. All mantras mean and signify the same thing - the supreme truth, the one eternal, infinite, almighty being. Ever remember the Lord. His divine name is the greatest treasure in this life. His name has got indescribable power. It bestows blessings upon all those who have faith.
Remembrance of the Lord is auspiciousness and forgetfulness of the Lord is inauspiciousness. Reciting the names of the Lord at bedtime is a good practice. Sing the Lord's names. Dance in ecstasy. Be regular in your sadhana (spiritual practice). Realise the Self in this very birth.

Japa is of three kinds: manasic (mental), upamsu (humming) and vaikhari (audible) japa. Mental japa is more powerful than audible japa.
Get up at 4 a.m. and do japa for two hours. This is the most favourable time for japa and for meditation. If you cannot take a bath, wash your hands, face, feet before sitting for japa. Face north when sitting as this enhances the efficacy of the japa. Sit on a kusa (grass) seat or deer skin or rug, with a white cloth spread over it. This conserves body electricity. Recite some prayers before starting japa. Have a steady pose. Be able to sit on padma, siddhas or sukha asana for three hours at a stretch.
Repetition of the mantra removes the dirt of the mind things such as lust, anger and greed. The mind, from which the impurities have been removed, acquires the capacity to reflect the highest spiritual truth.
