It's so much fun baking with green tea powder, or matcha powder. The flavor is never overwhelming, always just subtle enough and a perfect compliment to the sweetness of most baked goods, and the color is beautiful! This green tea pound cake is both of those things, incredible flavor and great color!

Green Tea Pound Cake 

Nutritional Benefits of Green Tea

Ingredients

Directions

Cream butter in a bowl. Add sugar in the butter and mix well. Gradually add beaten eggs and stir well. Sift flour, baking powder, and green tea powder together and add the flour to the egg mixture. Pour the batter into a buttered loaf pan. Bake in preheated 340 degrees oven for about 30-40 minutes.
