#5332 Life Comes to You in Many Guises, June 30, 2015
God said:
In life in the world, you often feel that you are
on the scrimmage line. You feel you are being put to a test, right and left. As if life were an audition while you have already
been chosen for the part. You chose yourself. When you look back, you will come to see that experiences
you saw as misadventure did bring you glad tidings. When you have seen yourself yanked out of
one valued experience into an unwanted one, you were blessed. You may have experienced this in many ways. There is the gold
in every experience, even in being wrenched from where you wanted to be. In some cases, you have already seen this. If this
is what is meant as My Will, you begin to see that even that which appalled you was Good Will, not disaster as you thought. You experience disaster because of attachment. Life is teaching you to let go of attachment. Life is life. Life is
not attachment. Today you can live in the tropics. Tomorrow you may be in Alaska. Today you may be in the lap of luxury, and tomorrow out in the cold. Life is not so predictable
as you would like it to be. You want your way. You want what you think is your way. Life is neither predictable nor preventable.
Life comes to you in many guises. No matter how fearful to you what occurs, there is good in it
for you. You will grow from it. You would rather not take a step outside of your perceived safety zone. You call safety that
which you already know. O, how My children like to keep life locked in place. There is something
to learn from everything. And, sometimes, your life experiences are not meant just for you. You are meant to not only inspire
yourself but to inspire others. All of My children are waking up from their sleep and a wayward
dream. Sometimes your dream of the Book of Life is filled with Golden Chapters of Beauty, and some seem like Grimm Fairy Tales
where there are monsters and, yet, also, morality. Even while there are witches and ogres, there are fairy Godmothers and
true princes and princesses. And there are saves. The jealous Queen who wanted to be the fairest of all did not succeed in
destroying Snow White. Of course, life in fairy tales and life in the world can appear drastic.
Life certainly provides contrast. There seems to be no zig without a zag. Life in the world is
not so momentous as it appears. It is, indeed, a dream from which you will awake. For a minute, you are suspended in the world.
It seems like forever to you and the most important urgent passage. So it seems. All the while, you sail a ship in Eternity.
You are sailing in a beautiful lagoon. The lagoon is not always in your sight. You may see yourself as sailing on the back
of a whale or in the Dead Sea. You may see yourself as treading water. You may see yourself drowning. None
of this is true. This is the illusion to beat all illusions. Yet that does not assuage you. It certainly is real enough to
you. It is real enough to give you nightmares within this realm of illusion. And yet you grasp your place in the world for
dear life. Let your sojourn on Earth BE dear life, dear ones. Enjoy it. Bounce with it, and you
will break no bones. It is not life that is painful. It is your resistance to life that makes life painful. In the fairy tales, there are often three sons, and the youngest son is often called the Simpleton. Of course, it
is this youngest son who wins the Princess and the Kingdom. Why is this? Precisely because he accepts opportunity, no matter
what it looks like. Wisdom may come to him in the guise of a mouse. The youngest son welcomes what comes to him. This is innocence,
and so, through innocence and not cleverness, he finds all that he is seeking, and so can you. |

“About Searching the Truth Within”
Message received by
Oscar.
Thought Adjuster: “Many
distractions offered to the masses today are promoted by individuals and groups that have hidden agendas and attempt to keep
their positions of privilege and unfair advantage. However, none of their strategies would have any success in a population
of human beings accustomed to exercising free and independent thinking. Distractions, misinformation and everything that is
done with the purpose of deceiving humanity will stop being an issue once human beings have awakened and start searching for
their inner truth.
“How can you avoid being another victim of
this incessant campaign of distraction? Learn to orient yourself with your own internal compass instead of relying solely
on the indications from others. Within each human being there is a fragment of the Creator Father. This is the Source of all
truth and all wisdom. It is the Origin of love and everything that is good, true and beautiful in a human being. There is
nowhere you need to go to enjoy a more complete relationship with this Divine Fragment. You only have to look within your
being, forget about yourself and let your soul discover what she really needs.
“In
those moments when you feel like you are running in all directions without a definite itinerary is when you should stop and
ask for instructions from your Internal Teacher. You already possess within everything you need to live a successful life
in this world. A life well lived — a life of great spiritual achievement — has nothing to do with what the majority
considers great in the material sense. An exemplary life is a life dedicated to doing the will of the Celestial Father and
this is only possible by striving for perfection in all your decisions and actions.
“Let
the deceivers continue with their efforts. They will also have the opportunity to awaken and to realize the futility of their
materialistic and selfish efforts. We are all siblings. We all come from the same Source. Some will awaken before others but
the destination offered to all is the same — an eternal life of loving service, discovering the wonders our Father has
prepared for each and every one of us.” Edited by Linda Abell. ©

1 July Posted: 30 Jun 2015 01:03 AM PDT Mind and Matter Mind is not a gross thing, visible and tangible;
its existence is nowhere seen; its magnitude cannot be measured; it does not require space in which to exist. Mind and matter
are two aspects, or subject and object of one and the same all full Brahman -who is itself neither and yet includes both. Mind precedes matter;
this is the vedantic theory. Matter precedes mind; this is the scientific theory. Mind is immaterial only in the sense that
it has not the characteristics of ponderable matter. It is not immaterial in the sense that Brahman - pure spirit -is. Mind is the subtle form
of matter. Hence it is the prompter of the body. Mind is made of subtle, pure (satvic), atomic matter. Mind is all electricity.
It is formed of the subtlest portion of food. The soul is the only source of intelligence; it is self-evident; it shines with its own light. The organs or mind and
senses derive their principle of activity and life from the soul. By themselves they are lifeless. Hence the soul is always
the subject and never the object. Mind is the object of the soul. It is a cardinal principle of vedanta that that which is an object for
a subject is non-intelligent. Even the principle of self-consciousness is non-intelligence - it does not exist by its own
light; it is the object of apperception to the soul. Mind is composed of coarse or fine matter, according to the needs of the more or less unfolded
consciousness connected with it. In the educated it is active and well defined. In the undeveloped it is cloudy and ill-defined. - - - - - Absolute consciousness is common to all. It is one. All the workings of the mind are presented to the one common
consciousness which is the witness of the mental vrittis. It is the mind that limits man, who is in reality, identical with
Brahman. This identity is realised when the veil of ignorance is removed. For Brahman, the mind is an
object of perception. Atman directly cognises all the phenomena of the mind - desires,
imagination, doubt, belief, shame, intellect, fear, etc., - and yet remains quite unattached and unaffected. |

30 June Posted: 29 Jun 2015 02:34 AM PDT Mind is All Mind alone is the whole world, with its
pains, old age, death, sin, earth, water, fire, air and ether, and all the internal organs. Mind binds man. He who has controlled
his mind is a veritable god on earth. We live in a world of thoughts. First there is the thought, and then there is the expression
of that thought through the organ of speech. Thought and language are intimately connected. Loving thoughts uplift and encourage others.
Unkind thoughts, thoughts of anger, bitterness and malice injure others. Thoughts are things. Sound, touch, taste, form and
odour, the waking, dream and deep sleep states - all are the products
of the mind only. Thoughts such as passion, anger, bondage, time - know all
these to be the results of the mind. The only true laboratory is the mind. Study it, test it and then go beyond it. Then you
will realise the truth; then you will discover the hidden soul. Only if your mind is quiet will you enjoy peace in your own
home, as you will enjoy it in the forest. Man has a mind. But mind is not man. Mind is a good servant. It is an instrument only. Utilise
it tactfully and properly. The prime requisite for happiness is control of the mind or lower self. Your thought is imprinted
on your face. Mind is a bridge that connects the human with the divine. Your body, your business, your house, are all only ideas
within your own mind. Thought is a dynamic force. Good thought is the first perfection; it is the real wealth. Emotion is
the driving force at the back of the mind. Will-power is the master-key to success. Knowledge, thought, intellect and reason
are one. Appetite, instinct, impulse and desire are one. Emotion, ambition, spirit and courage are one.
The mind is the master of the body. The soul is the master of the mind. Thou art, in essence, immortal soul. Thou art above
body and mind. Always remember this supreme fact and live in the awareness of thy spiritual nature. |
