JANUARY 4, 2015

Dear ones, We send wishes for a Happy New Year and add that a year of the new it will be, for you have already cleared much of the energy that held you in bondage to an old state of consciousness and this will allow the new to unfold.

Never believe that your efforts to learn and express love are wasted or insignificant, for every spark of light and awareness serves to decrease the density of a general world consciousness based in duality and separation. Each day the Light of the world is becoming brighter and lighter because of the unfolding awareness of so many. All are in and of the One and therefore the Light you acknowledge within yourself, you also acknowledge for the world.

Love is the key to everything dear ones--love of self and love of everything in your life. Love every aspect of your lives--the nice as well as the not so nice, for every experience can act to bring you into deeper spiritual awareness if you allow yourself to dig and discover the beliefs behind the experience.

It is impossible to truly love anything until you allow self to love self. A consciousness selective with regard to love, one that excludes self, reflects the third dimensional beliefs of duality and separation. A consciousness that excludes self can never express love in its highest sense because it does not yet contain it.

Concepts and beliefs about love in an un-awakened society are usually based on sexual attraction, power, and the need to feel loved, all of which are relentlessly promoted through the media, "experts", family, friends etc. Only LOVE, which is the recognition, realization, and action of a state of consciousness reflecting the ONE SELF will shift world consciousness into its next level of evolution.

Many say; "Oh but you don't know the awful things I have done. I could never love myself because I am not worthy of love." Others may say; "I was always told and treated as a child that I was unworthy or unlovable, and I just can't let that go." YES YOU CAN! It is time to stop continually feeding the issues, beliefs, concepts, memories and whatever still holds you in bondage. These things have only the power you feed them and you who read these messages are evolved enough at this point to acknowledge this, allowing any "victim mentality" of the past to cease and dissolve into the nothingness that it is.

This is what clearing old energy is all about, the more intensely you may experience something the more it is spiritually begging to be looked at and cleared. Clearings are graduations, and not negative experiences. Lovingly allow them by getting to the root of your belief system, no matter how physically, emotionally, or mentally painful the process may be. Once something is cleared spiritually it is gone, you have uprooted it and not just cut off a branch that will re-sprout at some later date.

The more an individual focuses on human problems the more these issues become firmly embedded within consciousness. Be alert to your thoughts as you go about your day. There comes a time in everyone's spiritual journey when it is necessary to surrender everything that no longer serves his evolution. Much of what you considered to be who and what you are, is now changing. The new you is moving into a new state of consciousness but it cannot happen while grasping tightly to the old. This is what is meant in the bible story of not putting new wine into old wineskins.

You are not your past actions whether of lifetimes long ago or this one, even if that lifetime was filled with seeming errors. Learn to love the mistakes you have made along the way and give gratitude for them because this is how you learn and grow. It is only the third dimensional consciousness that affixes blame and shame. These messages are being read by those ready to take the next steps--YOU. Those not ready, do not resonate with these words.

Bless and love everything in your life, always remembering that every soul makes pre-birth choices regarding the necessary evolutionary experiences he needs and is evolved enough handle . An example is that many who experience harsh and abusive childhoods have specifically chosen that particular situation in order to activate and once and for all resolve issues of low self esteem and self loathing or to resolve some karmic relationship that has been in place for many lifetimes.

Many have not been able to clear the more deeply buried issues until now when the higher dimensional energies are flowing intensely, giving them the strength and guidance to do the work. Some issues needing to be cleared will not come to conscious awareness until the individual is ready and this is determined by their Higher Self. Clearings of more intense and deeply held energies often clear in layers, so if you have done the work to clear and resolve something and find that lo and behold it is back, just know that you are now ready to clear the next layer and will know when it is finished.

Many who struggle with some physical, emotional, or mental difficulty are only now evolved enough to move through and resolve issues behind it, usually from lifetimes ago. Love and honor the courage of those who struggle dear ones, for many that seem handicapped in some way are old and wise souls who chose their situation in order to quickly evolve learn something. Often it is an evolved soul who chooses to be born handicapped or stillborn in order to assist in the evolution of the parents.

Love does not mean you must have emotional feelings for everyone. Feelings and emotions are often tied to human concepts of love. Love is the recognition, acceptance, and honoring of self, others, and everything as spiritual, for there is nothing but God. Period. It is only three dimensional beliefs of separation that cause everything in the world to seem separate.

Look in the mirror each day and say to yourself "I LOVE YOU". Warts and all, I love you. Love the warts, for they are you and you are not separate from the ONE. Mankind is on the brink of entering into a time of awakening, leaving behind that spiritually immature consciousness filled with false ideas and untruths. The world has been asking and praying for this, and yet remains reluctant to embrace it, afraid of leaving behind what is familiar no matter how unpleasant.

This, now, is the time for trust, trusting that the dance is finished, following a certain ritual, book, or Guru is finished. This, now, is the time to accept that You are IT. That which you have been desiring, searching for, praying for, you already are, but it is up to each individual as to whether or not they accept this. Free will allows everyone to play in the dream for as long as they wish, but the door is open now for those who choose to enter in.

Let the new year of 2015 be one of celebration in the midst of whatever occurs. Celebrate each day, giving gratitude for all things. Celebrate your awakening, and celebrate who you are by no longer giving power to the illusions of the third dimensional belief system. Starve these pictures of their power through your recognition of Divine Light within each and every individual regardless of what they are reflecting outwardly. Everyone is learning, but the lessons of others need not become yours.

2015 is going to be a year of awakening and change for many. Those holding tightly to old concepts and beliefs will find themselves removed from them one way or another and it is much easier to make the choice yourself rather than have the Universe do it for you.

LOVE yourselves, dear ones. LOVE is our message today and always. LOVE is the key to all things. LOVE is the answer you seek and is all there is.

LOVE EVERYTHING.

MARY MAGDALENE: The Experiment of the Third Dimension

Part 5 of a Message
Received by Mercedes Kirkel
On November 16, 2014

At Unity of Sedona

Question: Up until four years ago, I was in a process that felt like a really nice spiritual opening. Then suddenly, things changed very quickly in one day. I felt like I had this incredible anger at God. I’ve also gained a tremendous amount of weight since that point. I’m trying to see if there’s an understanding of what happened and how I can release what’s left of that anger and the weight.

Mary Magdalene: Thank you. This is an important awareness you have, of that point in time. It is your great help. People go through this in many ways in life, which are not exactly the same but there is great similarity, where at a certain point, they’re suddenly having a very different experience. If they remember that point and remember what was happening at that point, that will be their great support in understanding what got tapped into within them. It is always some place of wounding or darkness within yourself that have been connected with.

So you were ready. The spiritual opening that you were experiencing prior to that time was a strengthening, which prepared you for doing deeper work. You had achieved a new level, which enabled you to do this work.

You may need the support of someone helping you to see what happened from the outside. Often it is very difficult to see for oneself the things that are blocking one’s self. Whereas an outside person can be a great support in helping you get to that place. If it has been a number of years, it may be a sign that such outside support would be especially valuable.

I would say that you are completely equipped with everything you need to feel this. I suspect it is not a healing of that initial incident alone. It is tapping into something very big and significant in your soul process. So it is a most valuable thing to put your attention and energy into. It will move you forward greatly.

Questioner: For me, I know that a big part of that anger came out of both my own suffering and seeing extreme levels of suffering on the Earth. On an intellectual level, I think I understand why that’s part of the spiritual process. But at some deeper level—I think I probably share this with a lot of people—I wonder how an all-powerful, all-loving God allows suffering to occur at such extreme levels on Earth. For me, I think that’s the source of the anger.

Mary Magdalene: (speaking slowly, quietly, and gently) This realm that you are manifesting in, which is often referred to as the third dimension, you might look at it as a kind of experiment, perhaps a kind of a science experiment. It was an experiment in power and duality. And suffering is an inherent part of duality.

It may not seem this way, but the beings who are here chose to be part of this, chose to participate in this experiment, sometimes not knowing altogether what that would mean. And it has involved great suffering.

At this level, in this realm, suffering is part of the process of opening of one’s heart. You might say that opening one’s heart is the beginning of the end of this realm. It is a pathway of fire. It is a pathway of suffering. And not everyone experiences it in the same way.

At some point, you will realize you had the option of doing something different with the feeling of suffering other than projecting it outward as anger. You will choose, when you are ready, to allow yourself to feel the pain within yourself, rather than projecting it outward as anger. That’s what you might call the dark night of the soul, because it can be a very terrifying process to open to that kind of pain within oneself. However, it is your pathway to deliverance. It is the pathway to the transformation of the pain and the suffering.

Questioner: So when I see suffering in the world, it’s really a reflection of where I’m at internally. Is that part of the message?

Mary Magdalene: Ultimately, yes. But the pathway will not necessarily take that form. The pathway is more likely to take the form of opening yourself to the pain of the suffering. Through opening yourself to the pain of that suffering, it will take you to the source, the essence within yourself.

Questioner: Thank you.

Mary Magdalene: You are welcome.

Heavenletter #5154 The Blue of the Sky and the Blue of the Ocean, January 4, 2015

God said:

Yes, I am the Big Love of Your Life. It is to Me that you seemingly bow down and give allegiance. I lead you to Me, and that’s how you want it. There is no one to give you away to Me. There is no hand for you to take but Mine. I give you My hand freely. There is no one else to bind us or to announce that We are One Singular One of Love.

As I tell you this, you look around to see Who spoke, and you see no one else in the room. Only you. You cannot pinpoint Me, yet you sense that I am in the room with you as My Very Self.

You cannot speak or see the logic and logistics of an unseen God. What logic is there in the Blue of the Sky or in the Blue of the Ocean? How did waves happen to come about? Of what importance are waves that just come and go? Of what importance are waves that wash the shore and leave shells for you to collect?

And yet everything is of the utmost importance because one thing is connected to every other, and everything swings around the world. Sometimes it feels to you that the world and your heart are the prey of vultures who swoop down. Yet, if you and I as One are the extent of the world, where can vultures and prey exist?

There is no world, yet it sure seems that there is a big world out there ready to take a swipe at seeming you and all the seeming others. And yet, beloveds, fear is only an idea.

“Is everything in the outer world just an idea?” you ask.

Yes, everything but Oneness is an idea. Ideas are made concrete, yet concrete is not real. Although the world is not, it seems like the only real there is. The world is a myth that seems true. And the world is also a layer within which the Truth of Oneness exists.

This world appears at your feet and assumes tremendous proportions in your awareness.

Nevertheless, the world is a tangent. It is a script that everyone plays a part in. Everyone plays the perfect part even as none of it is real, no matter how real it seems. The world is like a dream you have during sleep, and how real someone’s chasing you in the dream seems to be, and how real your not being able to turn the key to unlock your door and get to safety also seems.

And then you wake up. The dream didn’t finish itself. Nor do you pick up the dream next time where you left off. It cannot be found again. It cannot be found again because life in the world is a dream, a mere fantasy that mystifies you forever and a day while True Reality eludes you.

How can there be this seeming content and how can it seem so real and how can it be that it is hard to find the True Reality that awaits you with open arms? Why does it seem so hard for the True Reality of Oneness to reveal itself from every direction? Why is it so easy for the World At Large to reveal itself and you take the unreal world for the gospel?

Ah, dear beloved children, you like to go to the movies. You like to see what’s playing. You like to be in the midst of it. You are addicted to producing a movie and sitting down to watching it play out. You pay admission to get into the movie, and you eat popcorn automatically.

When the movie reel is being rewound, you may slip away from it, and then you return, finding yourself back in the movie, sitting with all these other people who are equally fascinated with it. It is as if at the movies lies the only world you live in even while, in your heart, you recognize that the movie can’t actually be all there is regardless of what your eyes see and what the world tells you. Somehow you recognize there is something more even when you cannot seem to put your finger on it.

Presence of Mind
Just reflect for a while when you have failed in an attempt. Try to be more careful in the next attempt. Try to remove those factors that led you to fail previously. Fortify yourself now. Be careful and vigilant. Be active and nimble as the squirrel. Be quick and at the same time be capable and efficient. Do not commit mistakes.
Call forth all your latent energies or dormant faculties. When the house is on fire - how alert you are. How skilfully and promptly you act at that particular moment. You do not know where the power and the energy are flowing from at that time. You are fully concentrated. You contrive by skilful methods, then and there, to save your property and the lives of those dwelling in the house. You do marvellous actions and then, when the difficulty is over you say that some mysterious 'power of God' has worked through you!
Always cut the Gordian knot at once. Do not waste time. When once you have resolved on a definite line of action, carry it out dexterously, with a cool and calculating deliberation and consideration. Procrastination is the thief of time. One who procrastinates can never succeed in life, or in any of his undertakings.
The vast majority of persons, even so-called 'educated' people, have no definite aim in life. They drift here and there like a log of wood on a restless ocean. They do not know what to do. After finishing their B.A. or M.A. courses students do not know how to proceed. They do not have power of judgment to select any good vocation that is suitable to their temperament, that will bring them prosperity in life. They become lazy. They are not suitable for any kind of speculative business or any kind of activity demanding knack, pluck and skill.
In persons of this sort, those who waste their time and energy, they finish their life's career in gloom, despair and sorrow. The energy, the intellect are there but they have no ideal, no clear-cut programme of life. Their life is a failure.
Clearly understand the purpose of life. Then chalk out the line of work that is congenial to your aim. Live up to your ideal. You can realise the ideal right now, this very second. But if you walk with faltering steps it will take ten years. The ideal must be there and then you can develop your will.

20 Things to Remember When You Think You’re Not Good Enough

10 Things to Remember When You Think You’re Not Good Enough

Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is simply believing you’re worthy of the trip.

Truth be told, you can’t berate yourself into a better version of yourself.  And even though I know this, I sometimes still fall victim to my own negative thinking.  Sometimes I’m downright rude to myself.  I make a mistake, or fall short of my own expectations, and instead of treating it as a learning opportunity, I beat myself up about it.

I’m sure you can relate.  We’ve all been there.  We all have bad days and moments of self-doubt.

Sometimes the pressure coming from peers, family, work, and society in general is enough to make us feel completely broken inside.  If we don’t have the “right” job, relationship, lifestyle, and so forth, by a certain age or timeframe, we assume we’re just “not good enough.”  Angel and I hear about this kind of self-defeating mindset from our coaching clients and blog subscribers (subscribe here) on a daily basis, and like I said, we aren’t immune either.

So what can we do about it?

Here’s how I handle it: Every time I catch myself thinking I’m not good enough, I immediately write down an opposing thought that debunks my negativity.  I’ve been doing this for the past several years and it’s made a tremendous difference in my life.  I challenge you to do the same.

If you need a little extra inspiration, here are some things I’ve come up with – 20 good reminders when you’re feeling “not good enough”:

  1. Nobody is doing better than you because nobody can do better than you. – YOU are walking your own path.  Sometimes the reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind-the-scenes circumstances with everyone else’s public highlight reel.   Forget what everyone else is doing and achieving.  Your life is about breaking your own limits and outgrowing yourself to live YOUR best life.
  2. Where you are right now is a necessary step. – Sometimes we avoid experiencing exactly where we are because we have developed a belief, based on our ideals, that it is not where we should be or want to be.  But the truth is, where you are right now is exactly where you need to be to get to where you want to go tomorrow.
  3. Everything is coming together… maybe not immediately, but gradually. – When times are tough, remind yourself that no pain comes without a purpose.  Move on from what hurt you, but never forget what it taught you.  Pain is part of growing.  Remember that there are two kinds of pain: pain that hurts and pain that changes you.  When you roll with life, instead of resisting it, both kinds help you grow.
  4. It is your resistance to “what is” that causes your suffering. – Remember, happiness is allowing yourself to be perfectly OK with “what is,” rather than wishing for and worrying about “what is not.”  “What is” is what’s supposed to be, or it would not be.  The rest is just you, arguing with life.  Think about that for a minute.  This means your suffering only ever occurs when you resist how things are.  You cannot control everything that happens to you; you can only control the way you respond to what happens.  In your response is your power.  (Read The Power of Now.)
  5. Every day brings a choice: to practice stress or to practice peace. – Choose to be miserable and you’ll find plenty of reasons to be miserable.  Choose to be peaceful and you’ll find plenty of reasons to be at peace.  Think about it.  Are you skilled at making yourself miserable?  With those same skills you can make yourself motivated, effective and fulfilled.  Do so.
  6. You are always good enough to try, and that’s what’s important in the end. – Everything you achieve comes from something you attempt.  Make the attempt.  Trust me, twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did do.  Give yourself a chance.
  7. There’s always something small you can do. – There is absolutely nothing about your present situation that prevents you from moving forward, one tiny step at a time.  Remember, vision without action is just a daydream; vision must be combined with venture.  It is not enough to stare up the steps, you must step up the stairs.  And all you have to do is take one step at a time.  Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life.  Tiptoe if you must, but take that step.
  8. Failures are really just lessons that need to be learned. – No day is ever wasted when you live it with purpose and presence.  Value and enjoy the journey, even when there are detours along the way.
  9. Yesterday’s impossibilities may be possible today. – Experience is the hardest kind of teacher; it gives you the test first and the lesson afterward.  But this is really a blessing.  It means you’re growing stronger and more capable with every passing day.  So don’t you dare give up on today because of the way things looked yesterday.  Don’t even think about it.
  10. What “might happen” can only stop you if you let it. – Rather than worrying about what might happen, move forward and use your energy and intelligence to deal with what does actually happen.
  11. The quality of your vision drives the quality of your life. – It’s up to you how you visualize things and what you focus on.  Forget what you don’t like.  Focus on what excites you.  If you see a possibility, explore it.  If you have a dream, live it.  Those who are passionate and excited about what they’re doing have an advantage that is nearly impossible to conquer.  Be one of these people.  (Read Mindset.)
  12. You don’t need to get everyone’s approval first. – Stop listening to what the world says you should want.  Start listening to who you are.  Truth be told, there are only a few people in this world who will stay 100% true to you, and YOU should be one of them.
  13. What you’re capable of achieving is greatly based on how much you want it. – When it means enough to you, then you can do it.  When you are willing and committed and persistent, you will get yourself there, every time.  Success is neither magical nor mysterious.  Success is the natural outcome of consistently applying your focused effort to what you want.  The fatigue might be there sometimes, but you must understand that putting it aside is the single most important factor in succeeding.
  14. Your best bet is to give yourself no other choice. – It’s amazing what you can do when you have no other choice.  In fact, achievement consists mostly of giving yourself no other choice.  You are more than good enough; you just have to own it – you have to own everything you are and everything you’re up against.  If you believe your troubles are too powerful, then you’ll never allow yourself to rise above them.  Stop fretting.  Quit worrying.  Don’t complain.  You know what you must do.  So do it.
  15. You have to work hard on yourself too. – Self-respect, self-love, self-worth… there’s a reason they all start with “self.”  You can’t receive them from anyone else.  Earn the respect of others by having the audacity to respect yourself.  Dare to love yourself as if you were a rainbow with pots of gold at both ends.  It’s your responsibility, above all, to see your own value.  And this responsibility to yourself means refusing to let others do your thinking, talking, and deciding for you; it means learning to use your own brains and intuition to make things happen – hence, grappling with hard work.  (Angel and I discuss this in detail in the “Self-Love” chapter of 1,000 Little Things Happy, Successful People Do Differently.)
  16. You are stronger than whatever is troubling you. – Use each setback, each disappointment as a cue to push on ahead with more determination than ever before.  When something bad happens, you can either let it define you, let it destroy you or let it strengthen you.  The choice is yours.  So pump yourself up!  You are a lot stronger than you think you are.  You may not be where you want to be yet, but look how far you’ve come.  Celebrate the fact that you’re not where you used to be.
  17. For everything you’ve lost, you’ve gained something else. – Appreciate what you have today.  Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.  No regrets, just lessons.  No worries, just acceptance.  No expectations, just gratitude.  Life is too short.  The story of your life has many chapters.  One bad chapter doesn’t mean it’s the end.  So stop re-reading the bad one already, and turn the page.
  18. You have made the best of some tough situations. – Smiling doesn’t always mean you’re happy with everything.  Sometimes it just means you’re strong and smart enough to accept it and make the best of it.
  19. Your scars are symbols of your strength. – Don’t ever be ashamed of the scars life has left you with.  A scar means the hurt is over and the wound is closed.  It means you conquered the pain, learned a lesson, grew stronger, and moved forward.  A scar is the tattoo of a triumph.  So don’t allow your scars to hold you hostage.  Don’t allow them to make you live your life in fear.  You can’t make the scars in your life disappear, but you can change the way you see them.  You can start seeing your scars as a sign of strength and not pain.
  20. You are still here trying. – If you have no other testimony right now, you have this one: “I’m still here trying.”  Be positive, patient and persistent.  The more you feel like quitting, the more there is to be gained by continuing to do all three.  Because the strongest people aren’t the people who always win, but the people who don’t give up when they lose.

Afterthoughts

The wisest, most loving, and well rounded people you have ever met are likely those who have known misery, known defeat, known the heartbreak of losing something or someone they loved, and have found their way out of the depths of their own despair.  These people have experienced many ups and downs, and have gained an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, understanding and a deep loving wisdom.  People like this aren’t born; they develop slowly over the course of time.

And you’re getting there.

The floor is yours…

So, which of the points in this post do you resonate with the most?  What makes you feel “not good enough?”  How have you coped with this negativity?  Leave a comment below and share your thoughts and insights.
