Question: I was a student of the biblical scriptures and I love the words of Jesus. I was once told by Archangel Michael that there was a lot of tampering with the scriptures but that the words of Jesus were for the most part preserved. I would like you to comment on the statement “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” To me it seems like he’s talking to the heart-based Feminine.

 

MaryMagdalene: The Feminine is not meek (laughing). This is a misunderstanding.

 

Questioner: Please elaborate.

 

MaryMagdalene: I would say that this is one of the passages that have been altered.

 

It has more to do with what you choose to get involved with. There are those who are very involved with what you might call earthly things. And there are those who are drawn to various things, and amongst those might be God and union with God. But there is nothing meek about this. Nothing could be stronger.

 

This was something that was used and altered to change the original meaning. The original meaning was “Blessed are those who are drawn to God more strongly than all of the involvements of the third dimension.” For most, being drawn to God is a process. It is a process within one’s life and it is a process over lifetimes.

 

There is a purpose in being incarnate. Your purpose is not supported by dissociating oneself from incarnation. To do that is to deny the gifts of being incarnate. This is a spiritual misunderstanding that many have had that has held you back, that has made you meek.

 

Whatever circumstance you are in, that is the gift before you. You do not need to change your circumstance and truly you do not need to change yourself. You simply need to receive the gift of that circumstance—deeply, profoundly—to the point that it opens your heart. It may even feel as though it is breaking your heart. But it is ultimately ecstasy and opening. That is the process.

 

So you do not need to become strong; you do not need to become meek. You do not need to be this; you do not need to be that. You need to open to what you are and what is presenting to you, because that is the perfect form of the gift for you right now, for your greater God communion.

 

Ultimately it is all God. It is not “This is God and this is not. This is the path and this is not.” It is all God. But until you realize that—not just think it but actually realize that—it will appear that some is God, some is not; some is “the way,” some is not. That is part of the illusion. But as long as it does appear that way, receive the gift. Receive what is happening to you right now in your life and let it open you to the growth that will bring you beyond this, to the greater union with God. That is the gift of incarnation in this realm.

 

It is actually so much simpler than so many realize. So much of your thinking complicates it so much more than it is. It is actually right in front of you, right here, right now. It is the bill that needs to be paid, the child that needs to be loved, the tooth that needs to be fixed—whatever it is. It’s always being given to you. God is infinitely gracious, always trying again and again through every moment to reach you and help you for exactly what you need.

God said: 

That you live on Earth is a blessing to Me and to you and the whole wide world. I am the Acme of Your Life. I am the Culmination, and you have Me right now arm in arm with you. I give you the Gift of Life. I sponsored you, and I sponsor you still.
 
How well I am aware of the matters that grind over and over in your mind and wear you out. You may treasure Me for the gifts I give you, yet you may not treasure Life Itself. You do not want to be so close to Life, so involved in it, so up and down in it like a peripatetic elevator. You are so caught up in the Stream of Life, and the lesser matters that you allow to aggravate you to an extreme over and over again, do you not?
 
I hear you cry to Me:
 
“Dear God, would I learn that what has been done and not done right is not worth the aggravation I give to it. I would love to be free of aggravation, yet, apparently, I jump on the bandwagon of being upset. I often think: If only others would think ahead, all the grief there would not be.
 
“Of course, if only I had thought ahead. If only I had. Every time I am the culprit, God. Yes, if others had done thus and so, it would be better. Yes, if I had done thus and so, it would be better. I wouldn’t be aggravating now.
 
“I am in a slump. It must be that I need to sit up straight and make room in life for myself. I must stand tall. I don’t want to make myself an ant any longer climbing up and down these little hills of upset that I make so important.
 
“God, you have said it all. Appreciate all the good, and let go of what I don’t favor. So simple. Keep what gives happiness. Let go of what does not. Why do I keep niggling thoughts around? I toss them over my shoulder and lug them around with me. I open the duffel bag I keep them in often and examine the content like jewels. I pour over them again and again. I am like a miser of hard feelings rather than a miser of gold like King Midas. I keep nothing worth keeping in any sense of the word keeping. If only I could toss out all the dregs that run through my mind like rosary beads, one after the other.
 
“No longer will my allegiance be to all that is not worth keeping. I simply will focus on that which I do appreciate. May I savor the beautiful gifts You have given to me, God. That’s all I really have to do. Savor the fine linen and china and never mind anything else. You have given me enough good things to think about. God, if I could circumvent this one thing, how happy I would be.”
 
Beloved Child of My Heart, this is like procrastination in washing dishes and sweeping the floor, and concrete actions that clear the way for you. Get the dishes washed, dried, and put away, and cause for having them on your mind isn’t there. This is freedom from thoughts that ail you. Wash your thoughts and put them away. Sweep them clean.
 
This is simple subtraction. This is take-away. When you have beauty and completion before you, where is there any room for pondering and aggravating? If you must turn things over in your mind, turn over diamonds of thoughts and look at that which pleases you. Why not? Why not, indeed?

Realise Thy True Nature 
First, learn to know yourself, the true value of your own character. Then alone you will be able to serve humanity and benefit people. You are taintless, tranquil, pure consciousness; you are beyond nature. All this time you have been duped by illusion, maya.
Know one individual (yourself) correctly - and you can know the whole world. To know thy self, is to know God. Seek perfection, freedom and eternal bliss in the Atman or Self, by the Self and through the Self. Talk only of Atman. Purify, meditate, lose yourself in Brahman or the Absolute and you will find your Self, you will know your Self.
Nobody doubts his own existence, though he may doubt the existence of God. Find the truth, the source of your own Self and then you will know everything. The more you know the more you will grow in humility. I climbed the peak of vedanta and merged in the Light of lights. How can I express it? To express the unspeakable - all words are feeble. I am the witness - the eternal, pure, infinite, internal self. I am Siva himself. I am changeless. None of the things of the world have touched me or touch me. I have no moods - I am beyond moods. I am the blissful Atman. The light which illumines the intellect, the sun, the moon, the stars and also the yonder lamp, is bliss eternal. That light am I. Om.
If you find you need a place of perfect security and peace then come, sit in my heart and be one with me. There is a central harmony within you, a wisdom, a spirit of wholeness which is divine. That is immortal Atman, your own innermost soul or self. Dwell in this Atman. Realise this Atman and be free for ever. The Atman or Supreme Self must be realised. This is practical religion.
