Gradual Progress
The mind is so framed that it cannot work without expectation
of fruits or anticipation of rewards for actions. If you smile when you meet your friend, you expect a smile in return. If
you give a glass of water to somebody, you expect something in return. If you salute a friend, you expect him to salute you
in return. This is the inborn nature of a worldly-minded man. Train the mind to work disinterestedly.
Discipline the mind with patience and perseverance. Worldly-minded people cannot understand the spirit of nishkamya seva (unselfish,
motiveless service) as their minds are charged with or even saturated with impurities. In the beginning all your actions may
be selfish. But if you work hard in the field of karma yoga for two years, then five actions out of a hundred will be unselfish
and ninety-five will be selfish. Scrutinise your motives. Purify them. Struggle hard. After some years of incessant struggle, fifty actions out of a hundred will be
unselfish. A good time will come and all your actions will be unselfish and pure. The time is not very far to reach the ideal
if you keep the ideal in front of you daily, and if you struggle hard and are sincere and earnest in your purpose. Every work is worship of the Lord.
In the light of karma yoga all actions are sacred. The aspirant who always takes delight in doing work which is considered
by worldly man as 'menial services', and who always does such acts willingly, he and only he will become a dynamic yogi. Only
he is completely free from conceit and egoism. Only he will have no downfall. The canker of pride cannot touch him. - - - The world is
nothing but manifestation of God. Service of humanity is service of God. Service is worship. People are impatient, they expect
to get siddhis (psychic powers) after doing a little service. But the real karma yogi, who serves people with humility and
who sees God in every face, is honoured and respected by all. Sivananda

Adjuster: “As you advance on your spiritual journey, you come to personally KNOW the REALITY of God and it
is the most rewarding feeling. During the gold rush years, many individuals, having gotten wind of other’s good fortune,
and lured by the hope of striking the motherload chose to live under very dire circumstances to stake mining claims.
“Along
the course of history, the quest for God has often been sparked by hearsay — at times very conflicted and confusing.
Indeed, hearsay may entice you to go on a personal quest but it will never be a substitute for the actual experience of finding
God.
“Jesus, a Divine Son, incarnated in human flesh, not only to bring you the ‘Good News’
of your divine kinship but also to practically demonstrate the ‘How To Get to Personally Know your Heavenly Father’.
Of one thing you can be certain: His Spirit of Truth never tells lies and directly speaks to your hearts — no hearsay
there.
“The inner quest to establish a ‘relationship’ with your Divine Indweller is not a foolish
wild goose chase. Rather, it is the most profoundly transformative element in any life lived to the fullest. The first step
is to ‘want to’ — to set very clear intentions in that regard. The second step is to make your intention
known to your Divine Indweller, as it is the green light He has been waiting for. The third step is to take personal action
to faithfully nurture such a special relationship.
“Any heart connection has to be catered to in order
to thrive. By spending regular time in the Stillness — by tithing your time to the Giver of Time — you are on
the right track. There is a time for speaking and there is a time for listening. This is how you will start holding meaningful
conversations with your Inner God.
“It may well start with the formulation of an intellectual theory. Yet,
by putting it to the test, you will be led to validate it for yourself. You will then KNOW firsthand what others may still
fantasize about. Such a heartfelt relationship was meant to be everlasting. As well, it was meant to be taken to ‘many
next levels’ — one of them being the fusion into Oneness. “The Father is in Me, and I am in the Father.”

with all of you. It is wonderful to witness an expansion of the
human collective consciousness. We know that you can track, to a certain extent, the expansion of your own consciousness as
an individual. But you need beings like us to see the beauty of the human collective consciousness in a state of expansion
so that we can report it back to you. Now, those of you who wonder
what it is that you are supposed to be doing to help humanity really need to pay attention to this one, because whenever you
are in a state of expansion of your own consciousness, you are impacting the whole. You are a part of this bigger expansion
that brings humanity closer to a collective shift in consciousness. That
means that you can do so much for so many without even leaving your home. Without writing a book, or even a blog, you can
affect the entire collective, and when we see the expansion of the human collective consciousness, we also see how it affects
the other beings in the galaxy. We can see how much more formidable of a force humanity is seen as now. We can see how your
coming together with one another to inspire change has affected those who are lurking in the shadows. We know that the expansion of the human collective consciousness is inevitable and it will continue,
but what is yet to be determined is the rate at which you are going to continue this journey of expansion. The way you affect
that rate is by doing the work, the work on yourselves that is needed in order to let go of judgment, in order to release
your fears, and in order to embrace the aspects of yourselves that have been lurking in the shadows of your energy field. Now is the time to accelerate this expansion, because the Earth is ready, the sun
is ready, and all of the higher frequency energies you have been receiving are ready to help. You are the ones who are responsible
for the beauty that we have just witnessed, because you are the ones who are awake enough to care about your vibration and
the conscious delivery of that vibration to the rest of the universe. We
