Part 9, The Seven Rays

We live in a world of astonishing variety, and yet there are no two of us (including identical twins) who are exactly alike. While we all share the same basic human body design, each of us is totally unique. We can be recognized and differentiated as ‘ourselves’ by others. In addition to our individual appearance, we possess unique talents and abilities that are ours alone to develop, share and enjoy. So often the source of the variation found within the human race is attributed to an individual’s personal DNA structure. However there is another avenue that contributes to our seemingly infinite human variation that is little understood today. This source is known as the seven rays of life.

We all exist under the rulership of the seven rays and the powerful forces within them act as a catalyst and a guide toward the unfolding of our individual life plan. The seven rays are the first differentiation of God the Great Creator, in manifestation. They provide for the entire expression of God in created and manifested form. In the bible the seven rays are referred to as ‘the seven spirits before the throne.’ In his writings the great Tibetan spiritual teacher, Djwhal Kuhl, has divided the seven rays into two categories. The first three are identified as the rays of aspect and the remaining four are called the rays of attribute.

Ray 1 - Qualities: Ray of natural service, protection, power and initiative
Exemplars: Rulers, executives, military defenders, government leaders
Ray 2 - Qualities: Ray of illumination and perception
Exemplars: Teachers, students, writers, speakers, media development persons
Ray 3 - Qualities: Ray of depth of thought and abstraction
Exemplars: Arbiters, peacemakers, mathematicians and philosophers

Exemplars: Artists, musicians, architects, writers, dancers and designers
Ray 5 - Qualities: Ray of truth and scientific development
Exemplars: Scientists, inventors, doctors, surgeons, psychologists and sociologists
Ray 6 - Qualities: Ray of devotional worship and ministry
Exemplars: Priests, ministers, spiritual directors and healers
Ray 7 - Qualities: Ray of culture, diplomacy and ceremonial order
Exemplars: Diplomats, organizers of festivals, rituals, theatricals and international public productions

Ray one carries the energies of will, power and drive. This dynamic energy breaks down the old in order to make way for the new. In whatever area they are working first ray people will always function as a spearhead or a pathfinder. They are those born to lead and are found among commanders, presidents, prime ministers and high ranking military men. Even outstanding sports persons, policemen and police women are often of the first ray. Courage, steadfastness, fearlessness and an ability to handle people are their great strengths. Their weaknesses include pride, ambition, hardness and a desire to control people and events. Winston Churchill, John Kennedy and Mahatma Ghandi exemplified first ray energy.

The second ray embodies the qualities of wisdom and a deep desire for truth. People on this ray are considerate, compassionate, friendly and responsible. A second ray person will often be a teacher or writer, a second ray mind would be receptive while a second ray emotional body is peaceful, stable and mature. Undesirable qualities in a second ray person would include the acquisition of knowledge for selfish purposes. These persons could become suspicious and show contempt for the mental limitations of others. Jesus Christ, his Mother Mary and the Buddha were second ray spiritual teachers.

The third ray of active intelligence is the ray of the abstract thinker, the philosopher or metaphysician. These people are idealistic dreamers and theorists who view each side of a question in a clear manner. Their great virtue is perseverance – holding on to something until it is completed. These souls are logical, independent, highly organized and clear minded. Those of a lesser aspect of the third ray could display intellectual pride, coldness and a tendency to isolation. Plato and Thomas Edison were most likely third ray people.

Harmony through conflict is the description accorded to the fourth ray, the ray of struggle. This ray is connected to and manifests through the emotional body and possesses a reflective quality. The fourth ray is the ray of the arts and our most beautiful music, painting, architecture and sculpture have enriched us through higher aspects practiced by fourth ray people. Fourth ray people are devoted to aesthetics and they hold strong affections and exhibit empathy. Their opposite traits include self-obsession and depression. Beethoven, Michelangelo, Shakespeare and Leonardo da Vinci exemplified higher aspects of the fourth ray.

The fifth ray of concrete mind is the ray of science and research and thus finds its greatest expression through the mental body. A person working with this ray has a keen intellect and enjoys problem solving and accuracy of detail. A fifth ray person is characterized by openess. They will probe the essence of each learning experience and enjoy seeking knowledge and factual information. New thought is a particular strength of the fifth ray. So is balance and integration within the psyche. Difficulties of the fifth ray can lead to harsh criticism, narrow minded arrogance and lack of sympathy. Louis Pasteur, Marie Curie and Albert Einstein are fifth ray examples.

The sixth ray of devotion, worship and ministry is exemplified by preachers, orators and writers of spiritual or religious books. Manifesting through the spiritual body these persons are gentle, contemplative and adept at practicing prayer and meditation. A sixth ray person is loving, tender and reverent while lower aspects of the sixth ray could include sectarianism, prejudice and superstition. Mahatma Ghandi, Saint Theresa of Avila, Deepak Chopra and the Dalai Lama are outstanding examples of sixth ray people.

Ceremonial order and diplomacy together with the structuring of society mark a person working with the seventh ray. These people delight in the ordering of power through ceremony, processions, shows, reviews of troops, rules of precedence and genealogical trees. Seventh ray people are also determined to do and say the correct thing at the right moment hence they are usually a social success. They observe rules and ritual and frequently lead disciplined lives. The ranks of international diplomats all include seventh ray people. Notable among them was the UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan and Nelson Mandela. In our contemporary world, creative teams of seventh ray people frequently join together to mount international spectaculars, such as the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games and global New Year’s Eve telecasts.

Each of us living today expresses a composite of several different rays. The soul ray will remain the same throughout all of one’s different lives, while the remainder of the rays will vary within a person from lifetime to lifetime. Persons with a second, fourth and sixth ray structure tend to be more introverted, reflective and spiritually focused. People on a first, third, fifth and seventh ray combination, are generally more extroverted and focused on form at the concrete world level. The physical body’s particular ray also determines the features of that physical body. A first and third or fifth ray body will be strong and physically well developed. A fourth and sixth ray body will be more refined and aesthetic in appearance.

In addition the rays also determine the quality of one’s emotional body and greatly affect the nature of one’s mind. Since the rays predispose a person to certain strengths and weaknesses, some knowledge and deep study of the rays should form a part of the curriculum of psychology. However there is no general grasp of the rays today because there is so little understanding of the soul. In the coming new age, a more spiritual transpersonal psychology will become the norm and this deeper knowledge will be able to be accessed by all. Also a series of new rays are gradually making their presence felt. We will be accessing and working with these in the future.

Two Case Studies

Martha Graham achieved international acclaim in the field of contemporary dance and choreography. Her impact on dance was staggering and often compared to that of Picasso’s painting, Stravinsky’s music and Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture. Martha

Graham collaborated with well- known composers, artists and sculptors to bring her new ground-breaking ballets into concrete form. Her belief in the body’s ability to express its inner senses through pure movement was pivotal in her desire to dedicate her life entirely to dance. She exemplifies qualities of the second, fourth and seventh rays and chose to manifest her soul purpose primarily through the vehicles of her emotional and physical bodies. Martha Graham shares these inspiring words with us.

‘I am a dancer. I believe we learn by practice. Whether it means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or learn to live by practicing living, the principles are the same. In each it is the performance of a dedicated and precise set of acts, physical or intellectual, from which comes the shape of achievement, a sense of one’s being, a satisfaction of spirit. One becomes in some area an athlete of God. Practice means to perform over and over again in the face of all obstacles some act of vision, of desire or of faith. It is practice that is the means of inviting the perfections we all desire.’

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart never needs an introduction as everyone instantly recognizes the name, Mozart. His achievements as a composer, conductor and performer and his glorious music will live on forever. According to Dr Joshua David Stone, Mozart had a soul ray, a personality, a mental and emotional body that were all of the fourth ray in that particular incarnation. Mozart was already traveling, performing and composing by age five. He never struggled with revising his music but effortlessly copied it out as a completed production directly from his inner auditory imagination. Despite his great popularity and the fame accorded him in his lifetime, he died penniless in Vienna in 1791 and was buried in an unmarked, common pauper’s grave.

SaLuSa: We Are God’s Emissaries And Messengers

We know that these messages are received mainly by the converted, which have stirred within and sensed the importance of these times. Others take a passing look but if it does not fit in with their present mindset, it will remain outside of their thinking. However, nothing that you read or hear is without its value, and a new idea can lay dormant for a while and then come to life. This is where you all come in, as without being seen to try and impose your views upon others, both your word and actions are subconsciously noted. With the nearness of the end times, such contacts are so necessary to awaken those who still live in the lower vibrations. There is of course the greater awakening that is affecting the Human Race as a whole, but the energies being beamed to Earth take time to lift people up. Before long we will be amongst you, and before our arrival you will have been given much information by way of an introduction to us. This will be yet another means of reaching out to you, and it is difficult to see very many people not responding to the idea that we are All One. Having said that, it will be time to embrace the fact that there is only the one Omnipotent God within which every soul exists. Whatever name you use to call God is unimportant, but there must be a coming together of the different religions. You have much in common, and it will help immensely if God is seen as All Loving where every single life form is concerned. It is only Man who separates and divides, and those differences must be healed.

If souls still have the desire to remain as separate entities, then that choice will be theirs and accepted. However, it will hold back their evolution, but since life is infinite they will still advance on the path of their choosing. Help will be given to them as all other souls until they have ascended. You are in fact never alone even within the depths of the lower vibrations, although it may seem otherwise. You are never without God at your side, and you often walk in God’s footsteps, and if you deny God it makes no difference. When matters get out of hand, God is still there with you trying to lift your spirits with the Love that knows no limit. In the present times you need your faith more than ever to carry you through them. It will be rough for some people, but whatever your experiences they will not remain for much longer.

We are God’s emissaries and messengers here for your awakening, and bound to see that you safely step upon the path to Ascension. Nothing else is really as important to you, and it will fulfill your expressed desire to leave the cycle of duality. It is to be a journey of much excitement and discovery, when at long last you come to the true realization of who you are. Happiness will return so that eventually all of those sad and painful memories may be put behind you. Knowing this should give you the strength to come through this remaining period unscathed. Believe it to be so as you have overcome such tests many times before. We tell you often that you are powerful Beings, and we mean it. You have power beyond your imagination, and the potential to achieve anything that you want.

We know what is happening on Earth and whilst it seems to be quiet in some ways, out of sight there is plenty happening. We are always working to give strength of purpose to our allies, and they are responding well. All that you have been promised is coming your way, and with it so many problems will be swept away. You will feel more than compensated for all of the hardships and troubles experienced. Can we say again that you are not the victims of the circumstances, as you all knew that this lifetime would test you to the limit. You came into it because you wanted to be one of those who had the opportunity to experience the end times.

When you are prepared in advance for what is coming up, it enables you to set your mind to taking it all in your stride. You do not have to worry about your future as given the choices you have now, you can set your sights upon the one you have chosen. If that is Ascension, then you will try to live the vision of what you see ahead. That way you help bring it into being and there is no more that can be asked of you. We make it sound simple because it is, and it is normally Man who unnecessarily makes things complicated. Be Love in all you do and think, and let that energy accompany every act that you are involved in. Of course it is hard, but that is the challenge you came to Earth to face. You can do it because you have been there before, and you will achieve success.

When we arrive on Earth we do not want to be treated as superior to you, even so that our spirit levels are much higher. We see you as equals and will treat you as the sovereign Beings that you are. Status bears no relation to your spiritual level as any soul can make rapid progress on Earth, particularly at this time. You are seeing the whole world in upheaval, and millions of people have varying needs as a result. That is also one of your main challenges to see if compassion and love rise up, and whether the well-being of others can bring it out. So far the response of the people has been overwhelming, and that is a most positive indication of how much the new vibrations have brought a change of heart. It shows that you are beginning to accept the Oneness of all life, and that is what we would expect from those souls who have become enlightened.

We feel within our hearts a great yearning to make your acquaintance, as we want you to know just how much we care for you. What you are and what you may have done is of no concern to us, because we see your Light and know what you have been through in the cycle of duality. You are brave souls, and ones with the confidence to overcome all adversity, and indeed you have done that in many lifetimes. Your strength lies in your self-knowledge that you can take on any problem that comes your way, and that approach has seen you become leaders. Man needs such souls, and your history shows that when needs arise so does the hero of the day.

I am SaLuSa from Sirius, and the Galactic Federation will greatly benefit from having Hu-Man as its new member. You have honed your skills in the fires of Earth, and you are now the warriors that carry the Light and fear none whatsoever. Yet you are Love incarnate and therein is your great strength. You will harm no one and take them to your heart in their times of need.

The Silence Within

God said:

Events in the world are only events in the world. They are not lasting. Events are passing things. They seem momentous, and yet they are ships passing in the night. Events alight for a moment, and then they take off. They lose their steam. Stars in the sky sustain themselves and routinely appear, yet everything in the world seems to rise and decline. Where are the movie stars of yesteryear?

You, too, are a ship that passes in the night, and yet, how much energy have you extended to other ships passing in the night? Events are gone the moment they arrive.

All this too shall pass. Beloved, all this has already passed.

The moon emerges, and the moon changes its shape. As We speak, the moon is shifting. And the Earth spins under your feet.

And yet the you of you is eternal. The world is a passing thing, and you are forever. This is a strange mix, is it not?

Nothing is permanent but the you of you and the I of I, which, unbelievable as it is to you, are One and the Same. And yet while you sojourn on Earth, you are nimble, and you enter into the hop, skip, and jump of life with all your heart. Of course, you do. You are an active participant in the drama, and you play your role well. All the while, I observe, and I am the Silence within you, giving My whole heart to you who gives your whole heart to the drama in life, and, to Me. We are a whirl of paint in many colors, and yet We are not whirled at all. The whirling is the drama, not the actuality.

In actuality, you are the Supreme Stillness that I AM. You have a little dream, and, all the while, the dream seems so true, so alive, so close, so uplifting or so demeaning, and, yet, all the while, it is only a little dream of this and that, and sometimes it is twisted out of shape, and sometimes it is clear and beautiful and full of what dreams are made of and are coming true.

And so you are immersed and enmeshed in a grid of drama on the screen, and you are pulled like taffy this way and that.

To keep an even perspective is not an easy thing. An even perspective is hard to grasp when you are being flipped hither and yon. Nevertheless, you always alight on the solid ground of Heaven.

Life on Earth, in its glitter and in its shadows, is a party you go to for a little while, and then you always go Home and into the real life of the spirit that is, indeed, your life.

Surely all this that seems to go on around you is a fantasy, and too often a fantasy of errors. The Truth is no fantasy, beloveds.

The Truth is a different Reality altogether. It is the Only Reality, if Truth be known. Let Truth be known. Let it be known as it is. Truth is not a traveler. Truth is a permanent resident, and it lives in your heart. Your heart may feel wear and tear, yet there is no wear and tear in Truth. Truth is truly where it is at.

Truth in all its glory seems to be out of reach for you, and yet, you reach for it. You reach for it nobly. While you do the running dash on Earth, you are, nevertheless, established, all settled in Heaven, and away We go, and here We stay.

In the Land of the Obvious, Looking for a Clue

Hi everyone,

We're feeling like we're in the land of the obvious and looking for a clue. Just when we are sure that we finally know what we are doing we find out that everything has changed. After months or years of working on ourselves, do we feel any differently than before? Maybe we don't because it has taken us such a long time to get here that we have completely forgotten the person we used to be, and maybe that is a good thing. I, for one, am glad to be beyond the fear, doubt, confusion and uncertainty that I used to have.

What will life be like with my newly learned confidence? As soon as I get back into the world, I will let you know. Like many others, I have also been keep out of circulation for the past few years and I know it was for a good reason but I'm tired of being by myself all of the time. I want to move to the biggest, most congested place I can find and then relish the noise, traffic and busy-ness.

But first let's talk about the obvious because despite our best efforts, life just does not feel obvious right now. What are we doing now and where will it lead us? How can we feel so secure one day and mired in doubt and confusion the next? Why does it seem that just as we are sure of the next step, everything changes in the next moment? We are experiencing dramatic shifts in consciousness and seeing immediate results in our thinking and life experience from the clearing work we are doing now. And we're getting immediate confirmation. Let me share my experience of this week.

First, a little history. I have worn contact lenses for almost thirty years. Every night I take my contact lenses out, put them in a case with saline solution and put the case on the side of my bathroom sink. I do this the same way, every day. So on Sunday night I took my contact lenses out and put the case on the side of the sink. Then I went to bed. Monday morning I got up, went into the bathroom to put my lenses on. But they were not on the sink where I had left them the night before. The case was gone and although I looked everywhere, I could not find it. So I got a new pair of lenses and bought a new case to replace the old one.

Now over the weekend I did a lot of clearing work, on very deep karmic levels. On Friday I went to bed and asked the Council I work with to show me exactly what I needed to work on, the specific past life energy I was clearing, who I was dealing with and to let me know when I was finished so I could look at my life in a different way.

After spending the weekend clearing, I had to get new contact lenses and a new case on Monday morning. The Universe does have a strange sense of humor.

When I was trying to figure out what happened to my contact lenses, I replayed my motions in my head but could only get as far as putting the case on the side of the sink. Is that what happened or am I so wired to remember that process in this way that I can't remember it any other way? Are my memories so obvious that they blind me to the reality of what really happened during my contact lens ritual?

As we are clearing our karma and its energies, we are also learning to see ourselves, our life, others, our potential and the world in different ways. But our memories are so hard wired that every aspect of our life is an illusion which they create. We are afraid to know that there is no fixed reality, as everything simply unfolds from our thoughts. There is no lack or abundance, no joy or pain, no fear or love, except that which we allow ourselves to experience. And if our hard wired memories do not include allowances for joy, abundance and love, then we cannot know them.

That why when we beg the Universe to fix our life it doesn't respond. Our hard wired memories are creating our reality, not the Universe. It's only responding to the reality memories we are replaying for the millionth time.

We can use affirmations, positive thinking, attend countless classes and seminars and work very hard at changing our reality. But until we can go beyond the habits of our memories, we will continue to create the only reality that they allow us to.

I can see myself putting the lens case on the side of the sink but is that what really happened? While it is what I remember but is that what I did in that moment or is my memory of my nightly contact lens ritual so ingrained that while I saw myself doing it, I was really doing something else instead, something that is so out of alignment with my usual routine that my mind could not register it as a memory? Hmmm, I need to think about that.

This gives us food for thought-is life as we are really living it or is it just imagined? How much of our unfolding reality is based on the truth of the present moment and how much is imagined from habit? What role do our memories, in this lifetime and from all of our lifetimes, play in the life we have today? If we were to release them all right now, what kind of life would we be living?

When we ask the Universe for a new vision, a new way of seeing ourselves and the world, are we prepared to let go of all those memories and learn to let life unfold in this moment? We'll certainly have to be present in each moment so we remember where we put things! And by the way, I still have not found my contact lens case...

As you ponder this and the other things that are happening at this time (and Mercury is retrograde, which is a great time for reconsideration), remember to:

Accept all gifts of understanding with gratitude and use them to apply forgiveness, release and healing to every situation.

Ask for guidance and confirmation and then wait for it to come to you.

Above all, be grateful for this opportunity to be part of humanity's amazing shift in consciousness as we all ascend into the miracle vibration.
