My Journey With Channeling

My Journey With Channeling~
Channeling has been a great friend to me! I think I benefited from it from childhood as I heard about the Rosecrucian philosophy. Then there was the channeling from the Christian Bible, and later, I was inspired by the Alice Bailey books. I don’t think I would have the understanding about Life that I have today without someone reaching to their Source and sharing its wealth with me.

Djwhal Khul, the Master who inspired the Alice Bailey books, insisted that a forward be put in each book, saying not to read the material based upon Him, but to weigh its merits based upon the content. I also heard this from my father, to never be impressed with the messenger, but to weigh its merit based upon the contents of the message. When I really struck out on my own, reading everything I could find, I kept this rule in mind.

A wise woman that I once knew, used to tell us that all myths are true. The stories do not have to have actually happened as they are just packages to hold the real truth. I keep this in mind as I read a channeling; I look for the kernel of truth that I need at that moment. Trying to prove the truth of a channeling by 3 D rules is great when it happens, but does not usually help. I always look for the 3D proof, but sometimes it is necessary to step out of this dimension to understand something that is new.

As I have been exposed to more and more channelings, my reading speed has increased. When I first found the ning sites I thought I was in Heaven! I tried to read everything. To keep up, I started skimming to decide which ones to read. Yesterday I finally clicked the “Do Not Forward” button for three channeling sights, as I had absorbed all I needed to from their content. There are still several that I never miss and I find them here on OV. They always give me information that is new to me, and they are manna from Heaven!

There are three parts to any spiritual journey. They are meditation, study, and practice. My focus here is on study. I think each of us needs to make our own choice about what information we need to study for our own spiritual growth. I have deliberately chosen not mention which channels I read, as that is not the point I am trying to make. The point I am making is that I am grateful for them all. They have been such an important part of my spiritual journey!

Gratefully!
