Jeshua: Clean SlateThrough Joyce West

              ==================

Moving into ever higher vibrations of truth and living involves traveling lighter, with fewer self-imposed rules and regulations.  Feel the freedom in jettisoning.

Each moment delivers the invitation to snip whatever you’ve dragged behind you, to unload what you’ve carried upon your back, what hangs around your neck, what lies still undigested in your stomach.

What will you let go of?  What no longer serves you?  What never served you?  What will you put down instead of carrying forward?

Let go of shoulds and coulds and oughttas.  Let go of hurts and disappointments, of encumberments and answers you felt you had to have.  Let go of unfulfilled dreams that keep you from dreaming new ones.  It’s all an inside job.

Unhitch the boxcars and all they’ve held, year upon mounting year.  This is between you and You.  In quietitude, unhitch.  It’s all an inside job.

How easily the body follows the cycle of receiving the breath and giving it back, only to enter into the same practice again and yet again.  It does not store breaths from early in childhood, or last decade, or last relationship, or last year, or last week.  No.  It simply, and wisely, inhales for that moment and exhales in total trust that there will be yet another inhale, cleaning the slate with each cycle.

Let go.  Breathe.

Let go some more.  Breathe again.

Let go.  Breathe.

Let go of layer upon layer of self substituted copy and excavate the Original.  Shed the false protection of self constructed armor in exchange for the sure embrace with the Everlasting.

Throw away your internal history books, with all their chronicling of each battle and skirmish, of each achievement that told you who you are supposed to be.  Burn your carefully filed scorecards, Beloved, for they are false.

Brand new it can be, like the day you were born, with no attachments, no pre-judging, no memories, no guesses.

Brand new it can be, with the wide eyed wonder of looking, of experiencing, of living for the first time.  Each moment is the opportunity for new experience.  Each moment births the chance to receive anew in childlike newness and openness.  Each moment becomes the chance to not know or not figure out, but merely to experience.  Each moment arrives clean, new, self-contained.

Let go.  With every exhalation, let go.  With every encounter, every conversation, every event, let go.  Begin fresh and new with the inspiration of the breath.  Past and future simply do not exist now. Breathe the breath of freedom.

And who are You, unburdened from carrying the unforgiving paraphernalia of what you think was, and from running ahead in search of what could be?  Who are you when the need to pretend is gone?  Who are you when you stand in the proud nakedness of the moment?  Who are you when all you’ve ever told yourself to get by is burned away and all you’ve ever feared in your brother is gone?  Who are you when you awake in the moment and know nothing else?  Who are you when you call forth magnificence—your own and your brother’s?  Who are you when you see him as he truly is, whatever mask he may wear in front of you?

It is then you stand in truth as yourSelf,
YourSelf as Trust and Tenderness, for there is no other choice,
YourSelf, so Gracious and Generous, for what else could You be,
YourSelf, Loving and Loved, for that is who You truly always have been,
YourSelf, Jubilant and Joyfilled, for that is Your very essence,
YourSelf, true Majesty and simple Magnificence cradled in the heart of the One.

Ahh, Beloved One.  A simple pivot, a simple course correction, and you arrive at a new destination.  Wipe your slate clean.  It’s an inside job.
